A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

That Busa is great looking bike.
Spent some time on a '99 and was surprised at how well it handled. Certainly not nimble but not the wallowing behemoth i was expecting.

I took my wife for a ride on a Busa once. She told me to stop and let her off!!!! We worked it out.

Here's the harley tire mentioned in my post above. I assume the only shop they could find was hd and that was what was available. Desperate times I guess. It got him home.

They can be nimble. My 2005 has 1" jack-up dogbones on the rear, plus a 190/55 tire (vs the OEM 190/50)... sticking the bike on its nose really wakes up the steering.

I took a ride of sorts, ok it technically doesn't count as my bike was actually strapped into the truck bed.

I just wanted to show you all where I originated. This is warren county Indiana state hwy 63. Sort of a tunnel of trees like Dave (Redman) has in Michigan.

….8203;
you were born in back seat of a greyhound buss rolling down highway 63 ? ?

hee hee

nice pics.

Unless you're sitting on the bike up in the bed of your truck while someone else drives, it doesn't count. ;-)

I knew I was violating the rules as I often do with the bike, but geez, I didn't expect to get called out on it.

……..

………..My apologies for the bad selfie. …………….::maybe it's just not a photogenic subject matter.

for selfie, like to see you, the bike, the road and/or scenery. Right!!
Nice scenery there. So that is photogenic.

Just need to see more of the bike, ha!

Exceptionally nice day for October in Michigan.
Near 60degF at 7am, so had a little ride down past the beach before sunrise, then out for a group breakfast, then went for little ride with Mr Carl Wingsconson's challange in mind (fall color that matches bike color).
THen home because am getting behind on the leaf raking endeavor. After about an hour of leaf raking ... er, 3/4th hour, um, well, half hour, and near 70degF ... bahhh...., going for a ride. Was out for about hour and half.

Yesterday I took the ferry over to Vancouver for my company's annual Gala fundraiser and I was happy that I could ride a bike over as the ferries have been a nightmare....motorcycles get priority boarding and always get on the boat even if it's fully booked.
