A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Ah, Ok. Was that a typo or a phrase in finishing defects I’m now familiar with? And now I’m adding to the idle chitchat. :p

Been to busy lately for much idle time, just been kicking it in gear and going. I have my kids (and three of their kids) moving back in so I put up a few walls and made a fourth bedroom in our house. Since I absolutely hate doing drywall, I used some unfinished plywood bead board from Lowe's. I digress...

Yes, a holiday is a common term in finishing and painting for areas that got missed. I googled finish holiday and all the results were special days in Finland lol.

Boring stuff for most, I'm sure........

Yeah. I googled it too and didn’t find anything relative. I work in the cabinet industry and had never heard the term applied to finishing. Learned something today. Thanks, Roger

OK, back to my our regularly scheduled program. :D

Evenings in the parking lot at a rally are often as entertaining as the riding..........:-)

I got some sunset/bike pics, and some twilight/bike pics, but didnt think I would find any dusk/bike pics.

So just after sunset, I pulled bike out of garage, and waited a little while. Wasnt any twilight color, so I figured was dusk.
THought of getting tripod, but just cranked the ISO to 3200 instead.
Pics didnt really look like dusk......

so turned on the aux lights, that adds some indication of it being dusky....

And now what you've been waiting for, the entries:

No long book report this week...

I think that should be everybody, let me know if I missed.
Vote early, vote often, vote for me!

Thanks KF for the summation. Nicely done. I got involved in something, and totally forgot. :o

Voting for Rich....

Thanks for the summation Kerry.

I am not home this morning, and (to rev up the idle chat) things not the same on phone on limited WiFi.

will vote later (when can see all the entries), but let me say that I enjoy this game for multiple reasons, not the least of which is the sometimes personal sharing, such as Roger Burque’s pic this week.

I like Norms, cuz even if I knew nothing about this weeks theme, and I was describing his pic I would say it was at dusk, with the way the shiney stuff reflects what little light remains.
Or, maybe I like it cuz its about the same idea as my picture har har.

I do like many of the other pics, so need a tie breaker, and if I was describing them I might call it sunset or twilight or nightime, so Will vote for Norm Storm.

After getting caught in 50degF rain SUnday, and it being mostly rainy since then, pulling GK out Thursday evening for the pic has been only mo'cykle activity so far this week.
Well, unless count posting on BMW forum about how to get side bag open after the latch release breaks internally. MuzzleFruzzleFrizzleRats.
