A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Just got the results of WSBK in Magny-Cours, wow, what a heartbreak for Syksie, a friggin' arf-a-point to the Roman Emperor. What a great season, overall, for Team Green, tho'.
Wanted to say thanks, and have for a while, for the way you've stood to the right-wing nutters on here. Almost all of this horror show is down to King Rupert, who everyday resembles both the Earl of Warwick, The Kingmaker, and Louis IX, the Universal Spider of the Middle Ages. What a prick. From that comment, you'd be guessing correctly that I'm a bit of a fan of that era, particularly in British History, have been for a number of years now. Have watched with considerable interest the possibility that the remains of Richard III have been exhumed in Leicester. Rebury him in York Minster, I say!! Thanks again, and if time and chance bring me back to Blighty after a 50+ year absence, be great to look you up!!

    Hi, Wally-

Thanks for the prompt reply, sort of a surprise to see the listing you found on the 'Bay, I have a 'Saved Search' on there for Suzuki clocks, and the one you found was not in my 'SS'. Go figure. Exactly what I'm looking for, except for the high mileage, and the cost, not so much the price, but the cost has me stopped for the time being.
Interestingly enough, after I PM'd you, a Canadian 650 popped up for sale, and it had
a kph speedo, which answered one of my questions for you as to whether 650 clocks were the same wordwide. I've no problem with a kph speedo if one came up, rather have an mph, but not a big issue. Thanks for the heads-up on the 550 piece, I had a suspicion that was a viable option, and not having a sidestand light is a bonus, had no clue that the non-US 650's had that feature.
I had looked at RobinsonFoundry's website, and I guess I'll have to get off me arse
    and email them.
hi, do you remember bikerzx7r1981 and his non start gs1100g ?. he was going to bring it to my house/garage for me to have a look, but the car with towbar to pull bike trailer has broken down BUMMER!. i was looking forward to a challenge. i see you passed your test on a suzuki gt250 also, great bikes! those were the days and the sun always shone. well maybe, good memories. Cheers, Dennis.

Hi Wally, I'm calling on your wisdom again!
Fitting a fuel tap repair kit,I took the 4 screws out of the square side & managed to drop it - all bits spewing out?

So, putting it back together, is it 1st plastic square with indented circle facing down 2nd diaphram with metal disc facing up 3rd spring & cover?

You must be reading this & thinking "Who is this nob"

Had real trouble getting blue paint code - the painter's computer came up with nothing? So have instructed him to paint it black as the decal kit for the black bike is the same as the blue (sky blue/gold)
Will have it back by the weekend, put it together & get her started???

I will get a photo on the site as soon as I can - as she looks great!

    All the best Wally, Dave.
