A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Hi Greg, Glen here from Oz, I bought your 82 Kat shocks awhile back, they are looking good after a polish with Mothers thanks for the deal on them. Do you still have the Kat swing arm for sale? Iam looking for a Kat swing arm and knowing how good your shocks were its a fair bet the swing arm is in pretty good shape as well, cheers.

Hi Greg saw your cam cap work and wish you could do mine. I took the bike into the dealer for spring tune-up and when they were putting the head cover back on they stripped the cover bolt. So they claim it?s an old bike and I shouldn?t get too worked up about it. Well I can see they do not have the equipment as you do, so I am not sure how perfect the insert will be. They also said I can not just use another cap. Suzuki no longer sells the part, but from what your thread says it has to be a certain tolerance. Any suggestions?

Hi Greg, this is Pedda from Germany, a fellow Katana rider. I got a question about the oil distributor you made for your cam oiling kit.
I'm in the process of building a race Katana with a EFE engine. I'd really like to feed the oil cooler "Yoshimura style", leading the hoses round the right hand side of the barrels to the cooler. No external cam oiling intended. Would you recommend your distributor for that purpose as well? There's a bloke in France who also did such a distributor as a cast model and it looks like it follows the same principle as your's.

And just out of interest: when installing the cam oil feeds: do you have to blank the standard oil feeds up the studs?

    Best Regards
    Pedda

    Cheers
