    Hello,
I'm interested in upgrading my 82 GS450T front brake. Are you still in the business of providing brackets for the single rotor twin-piston caliper upgrade? It's either that or trying to upgrade the forks to add a right side caliper.

    Thanks,
    Steve

Hey Salty Monk, I am interested in a set of your caliper brackets for my 78 GS750 resto, are you still in the business perchance? Also what's the combo again? Early 90's ninja calipers and some CBR rotors? I was planing on getting a set of EBC pads for the new calipers and the cbr equivalent EBC rotors, will this work?. If you're still doing this I'd be more than interested in purchasing a set from you and BTW what year Ninja calipers and CBR rotors shall I be hunting for?

    Thanks

    Hi Salty_monk
thank you for the response to my thread about my 83 gs750e project. It definitely helped convince me that I was on the WRONG track and your 83 GS750ES is really inspiring!
I have found the compete front end for a 08 gsxr 750 for sale and I'm really considering changing out my front end to this one, especially with now new it is...
Is this a good swap? When I did a search for gsxr and gs750, I found a thread where you advised someone that they'd have to fit a 4.5 wheel gsxr in the rear to run radials on both ends... is this the same situation for my bike? I'm very new to all of this so I appreciate any and all advice! Thanks!

Hello, i was advised to look you up for brake upgrade questions. I just got an 81 gs450e and would like to do a twinpot single disc upgrade, do you still make the adapter for the caliper? What caliper and disc would I need, and what kind of spacer would I have to fabricate, if any? Thanks in advance for any help you could offer.
    Hi Salty_ monk
Was just looking at your 83 es for sale thread and noticed you used a Ducati monster shock. I am looking to change the shock on 83 e. I am a heavy guy, so was wondering if this is a stiff shock ? Also which model is it ? There are lots on ebay, but I don't know which one will fit.
    Thanx Garth

After I wrote you I looked at it closer and realized that I could just swap over the preload assembly, but then noticed that my shock actually was in better shape, so it's just a spring swap. I'm looking for new o-rings now for the preload innards. Most of the fluid had leaked out but it appears that the adjuster knob still works. fingers crossed. Thanks for getting back to me!

    Hi Dan,

I bought a rear shock with a Ducati spring from you a few months ago, and I'm finally getting around to fitting it, but I'm having problems because the dampening adjuster (i think) hose is too short, and the fittings are different size to swap with my old shock. I'm not complaining o you at all, but if you have some advice to make this work that would be great. If I have to just swap the spring over I'll do that but my old shock is pretty grungy and I don't think the adjusters work anymore. Not sure about that though. Mine is a 86 1150, and the dampening knob is the flip-up tab you turn, not the round knob with the + and - , which is the one you sent me. I seem to remember yours coming from an 1100, maybe that's the difference. Thanks, Lee
