    A note to old forum members...
    I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

    Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

    Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

    If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

    If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

    Been a long time since I was on this site and am finally getting her back up to speed. Jesus....oils sure have changed...okay, what should I put in my 1980 GS750E with 24,585 miles on the odometer. I realize that there are too many posts about it and want to cut to the chase and ask you, since you are the man on the forum, which one I should buy, in your opinion which is to me the best one on the forum.

    "Frank, you know I don't usually complain, but do you REALLY want a GSR member to publicly advocate the assassination of the President of the United States? If i were Administrator of a forum, I sure wouldn't! Thanks."

    Nah, you probably wont change your mind about naked bikes.
    The only fairing bike I have ridden is the bandit and i have the windscreen cut down lower than the tops of the mirrors on it. LOL The nice thing about the bandit is that it will do anything well. Its easy to work on and it wont cost you an arm and a leg.
    And,....(dont tell the wife) its quicker than snot. lmao But I call it my Teddy Bear. She wont bite unless you mis treat her. hehe

    Thats a good looking bike, I hope to have one in a couple of years, I still like the naked look bikes, I want to have a big headlight on the front and no fairing, maybe just a bug screen but thats it. I might change my mind when i get older though, I've been told I will...

    A lot of times, I just go out in the shop and work on something during the night, maybe come into the house for an hour or two for a nap and then back to work, or whatever.

    i guess i beat myself up too much when i was younger. LoL now, I can lie down usually about two hours before things start hurting enough to get me up. Usually sleep in 1 or 2 hour naps. Cant remember the last time I slept through a night.

    Yea, im actually on my 2 weeks nights, i'm beginning to hate it too. Turned 45 yesterday and it seems to get harder and harder to stay up.

    I dont plan on being at the SE rally. Honestly, the number of crazies around in the Deals Gap area is more than I want to deal with. I WILL be at the West Virginia rally in Fayetteville though. As nice as the roads are in NC, the WVa. roads are BETTER. Hope to see you there.
