    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

    Slate Truck

I've seen a number of different companies touting their latest project as the "New cult car" and this one doesn't appear to be any different. Yeah, I'd be in at that price and if we could hustle up a few hundred thousand more of us it just might be possible to see it actually happen. Does...

    Wild Weather in the Heartland!

I'm camped in central Georgia and have some light digging to do today in preparation of that same system moving in. When I arrived here Tuesday the buds on the trees where JUST starting to open and with 90? degrees temps all week all the trees are darn near fully leafed out! With the front...

    Hooters!

I've often likened to an 1800's traveling side show act where people pay a hay-penny to use a stick and poke a retard in a cage just to watch their reaction to said prodding. Seriously, it's nothing more than an echo chamber where people rehash the same old pablum that's fed to them via...

The actual freedom of an old car

My parents had a 65 Galaxy when I was growing up, it's the first car I remember us having. Can't say I know anything about the specs on it but do know that my dad was very much anti-Ford from there out.

The actual freedom of an old car

At 33 I had my off grid home sitting on 20 ac bought and paid for, this allowed me to "F" around the rest of my life work wise. Both my kids attended a rather prestigious private arts academy where the yearly tuition far exceeded what tuition at a public university costs. Finally decided to...

The actual freedom of an old car

Sounds to me you're more interested in playing word games than promoting personal responsibility for your own financial conditions. Can't say I know that for a fact but then again I'm not the kind of guy that can easily justify spending $15 for a can of cable lube.

The actual freedom of an old car

Personally I haven't had a car since I sold my 1995 Olds in 2015, in my case good quality hiking boots and old motorcycles have taken it's place. There's some timeless wisdom presented in this video, I'm quite sure there'll be plenty of people who will scoff at the idea...

    Canada Goose vs bald eagle

Not to mention their *poop* creates the perfect medium for the parasites that cause swimmers itch to flourish in. Up where I used to live in NW lower Michigan there's an awful lot of inland lakes where the goose population and the associated swimmers itch make it so you don't want to swim in...
