    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

    Data Center Building Boom Cycle???

OK, so you gotta look at a big non-descript looking building. The WMMM WMMM WMMM sounds from all those fans would drive me nuts! Then there's the power usage aspects of it. Not long ago I saw a video about how we'll run out of the ability to store all the data being generated by sometime in...

Converting waste plastic into useable fuel

You really need to watch a LOT of his videos to get the full run down. It would be nice to have something put together in one nice package to promote his story but then again, little bits and pieces tend to drive up views and more importantly, public engagement. If you're trying to make some...

Converting waste plastic into useable fuel

This young man caught my eye earlier this summer and I'm downright impressed with his project. He's using solar power driven microwaves to heat waste plastic and convert it useable fuels such as methane, gasoline and diesel. He's doing this 100% via crowd sourced funding and has made claims to...

    Quantum....something to think about

My guess is the first things these new computers will be working on is scientific research, they'll be "air gapped" to prevent outside tampering. After these new computers figure out a way to make themselves more compact and affordable they'll be rigged together on a network completely separate...

I use my center stand and a one ton bottle jack to keep it from tipping fore/aft depending on which end of the bike I'm working on.

    Facebook marketplace gems

There was known to be a hard to find 920 chain drive model that could be swapped out for the shaft drive, came across that on a repair forum while thinking what I could do custom wise with the back end of the bike. The national speed limit was 55mph when that bike was new and it absolutely...

I'm not sure where you're getting your facts from but they're WRONG. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of mine but I can guarantee you that it was a Virago 920 with SHAFT (not chain) drive https://youtu.be/I0WLrHn3YA8?si=6mFWblZGGXvsp3yL

    Cybertruck

The ability to easily do your own customization is going to be a big selling point. I'm interested in how much hauling capacity it has and if it'll be able to tow something. Unlike most pickup owners my trucks have actually been used to move things.
