A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

    Bought another Bandit

I've said it before, the Harley is a really wonderful bike with a ton of character. The Evo motor is as reliable as anything Japan has created, and with 90 hp and 80+ lb ft of torque, it's a quick bike.

Suzuki GSFX Bandit motor in a Van!

    Uh, no. 10.5 0-100 kph.

    Bought another Bandit

Dale is a great guy with a deep connection to those bikes. I've been looking at a '99 here off and on, but if I were to buy it, I'd need to sell the Harley, since it would become an obsession.

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

I just moved back to AZ from New Mexico, where I spent the past 15 months helping a friend build teams for a small chain of automotive shops. I passed that museum's offramp multiple times and never went. I sure do love the Balloon Museum and the BioPark, though.

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

I'm driving a 2013 Kia Soul these days. Simple, hauls stuff and easy to maneuver.

    Just bought A Beemer

Nope. It had been an 883, which I did a big bore kit on. That motor had apparently had the heads skimmed before my ownership, so the compression ratio that ensued caused it to self destruct. I replaced the defunct 1200 big bore with a factory Sportster 1200 motor, installed a set of Feuling...

    Just bought A Beemer

Every time I think I will sell the Sportster, which has a lot of work in its suspension and even more in its motor, I ride it and fall in love with the beast again. There is a visceral quality to an Evo motor that ticks a box for me in a way no other motor has. So ... I'm gearing up to do a...

Get the GS. Those XS specials are not particularly attractive and handle like dog$hit.

    Kawasaki Ninja ZX4RR thoughts

Ah, man. The '87 FZR1000 was such a great bike. I also remember those little magic machines, having lusted for a short while after a CB-1. Ultimately, the lure of the RZ350 pulled me in that direction.

    Just bought A Beemer

Yep, I'm finding nice ones for $3500-4500. I am, however, holding on to sanity by also looking at FJRs and ST1300s.

You're gonna laugh: I gave the R1100R to my brother and am now eyeing a K1200 to replace the Harley.
