A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Looking for recommendation on a bag to put on stock (I think) GS1100E rear rack

Yes, that looks to be a stock rack! I use a Nelson-Rigg commuter bag on my passenger seat for all my essential items. (tire kit, compressor, tools, etc.) They make 3 different sizes and range from $119 to $159 each with a lifetime warranty. Right now they have a 25% discount using "labor2024" code.

I know how you like going fast, so I doubt a Goldwing would scratch that itch for you! But I know where there is one for sale if you want to test that theory!

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

As you know, there aren't a lot of areas to pull over and take care of business on that road. That little bridge seemed like a safe spot to "water the grass"! I'm all in on making that area a yearly must-ride! I rode a few other roads on the windy9, but they pale in comparison to 555...

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

Not today, but yesterday! Took a little trip to ride the infamous "triple nickel" in southeast Ohio. It was definitely worth the trip! I rode parts of it 3 times!

Actually, I think that's a pic of the '78 GS1000 right after I put the rear end back on, during the restoration, before the frame was powder coated and before being ridden! The '78 750 doesn't have spokes! Come on guys, I don't keep my bikes in pristine condition. I'm afraid Norm would be very...

    82 1100ez vacuum petcock question

Yeppers! I tested mime accidentally while at Brown County. Looks like I could have gone about 35-40 miles after switching to reserve. Luckily, I found a gas station after about 18 miles. Right now I'm testing out three different apps to see which one works best for me. I've got Scenic, Eat Sleep Ride and Calimoto loaded on my iPhone. The hardest part is navigating within the apps to get to where I can track and save my rides. (Having 3 different apps which are all very...
