DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Buying a Bandit, Which Forum Should I Join

A lot of bandit owners go the route of sargent seats. I've always been a corbin fan (had them on most of my bikes) Prices are comparable between the two makers if bought new. I like the look of the holeshot corbin a bit more than sargent. Will have to see how it feels though. Nic

Buying a Bandit, Which Forum Should I Join

Check out holeshot for lots of bandit 1250 goodies. I just ordered the holeshot/corbin touring seat for mine yesterday. The stocker was pretty uncomfortable. I'll be getting a knock off corbin backrest for the two up riding we are planning on. They offer a top case mounting system that looks...

    New Purchase

Got a pleasant surprise yesterday once I removed the seat for some misc clean and familiarization. Dealer said no other mods were done to the bike other than the Yosh pipe, but I found a Dobeck (holeshot) tfi tuner installed. Sure fealt like it had a couple more ponies than the last stock 1250...

    What year????

Ray think you are looking at 91/92 1100 forks. Wipers for the stanchions of that year are 41mm. Rob lists fork diameter for 91 as 52/56mm. Parts numbers match for 91/92 years. I went out and measured a set of 98 1100 forks, and the inner stanchion tube went up to 43mm, and the fork diameters...

    Clutch Recommendations?

Stock or FBG (fast by gast) clutch fibers are favored. http://www.fastbygast.com/Catagories/Products/description/fiberplates.htm The aftermarket kits tend to chew up the baskets pretty bad. I like to mix HD springs and stock half and half. Check your steel plates for glazing/ wear before you...

520 sprocket conversions with offset front???

I'm running a 520 offset sprocket on my 1100es. Started with 5/8 th 530 and milled it down to 1/2 inch for more frame clearance. The 520 fixed clearance issues. Think I mentioned starting with 530 and going down to 520 in my budget gsxr conversion thread. Also the vendor I purchased it...
