A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Agreed Bob, yours and a couple others I could pick out the chicken strips that's why used aren't even visible in "most" of these pictures... That's why I kind'f got to wondering if my definition of these strips maybe was different from this weeks theme.

rebuilding front master cylinder with Cruzin Image kit - instructions anywhere?

I've never seen a master cyl. rebuild kit with all those parts. The kits I've seen have a few seals, boots, & a spring, pretty simple to understand.... Not sure what you have a picture of, but I'm quite sure the Cruz'in image kit did not come with the clutch lever shown in that picture...

Well yeah, I thought the chicken strip was the little "line" that showed the edge of the wear caused by the farthest lean, near the edge of the tread...Not that it matters, but in Very few Few of the pictures did I see that line... But good pictures of tires anyway.

    G.S.R. Website Timing Out

Mine has not shut down after getting going... A couple of times when I clicked on the GSR, that little blue circle would spin for a couple of min. then show PAGE CANNOT BE FOUND. I'd punch the little blue thing that says reload or restart, then after a minute or so it would come on and work fine.

    1985 GS 1150 Carbs/heads

Just say'in I've used GS1150 carbs (36mm) on 2 4V GS1100's and one Kawasaki GPZ1100, after throwing the fuel injection away. Relatively easy to install & get dialed in and a noticeable power improvement, nothing drastic but could easily feel the difference... Good luck with the sale, should make...

Shoot, most all are the middle of nowhere. I'm see'in it a little different. Voting Dorkburger & his pitiful little scooter, all by his self somewhere in the middle of a ghost town, no people, bikes, nor autos anywhere in sight, on a snowy cold winter night. Heck I want to go get him and take...

    1982-GS750T - Oh my Carbs!

Different Co.'s use different #'s for the same size jets ???? Never would have thunk that...Wouldn't that get terribly confusing??? How could you be sure if you ordered a bike won't start at all jet, you'd get a bike won't start at all jet if some use different #'s.??? That just don't sound right.

    1982-GS750T - Oh my Carbs!

I know nothing about air corrector jets, but back in the day, pod filters, especially with the bigger oval K&N's the mains would need to be raised quite a bit, but not near 13 sizes. I'd guess maybe125 to 132.5 would have been close. The exhaust. will have way less effect on the jetting than the...

Well first Mr. Forgetful, seems you're new to the site, so first WELCOME aboard. Also seems you may be new to Suzuki GS bikes. I recommend go to our home page, then Model info., it's amazing how much you can learn there pretty quick.. To your question all GS850's are "G"'s, but none are just...

    Gel battery

I've looked, though not recently, for a trickle charger, or tender, that turns completely off when batt. is fully charged then comes back on when, if, batt drops a little. as many chargers and marine chargers do, seems simple. Maybe I'm not clicking the right buttons but so far I haven't found...

    Gel battery

Since I've been using them the AGM's, I haven't noticed a difference in them and the old Lead Acid, as for how long they last.

2008 Yamaha FJR AE, gonna sell for a friend. Or keep?

Half naked on a naked bike at 80mph??? I remember every time I ever saw that thinking they haven't got a clue. I like riding in hot summer to, but fully dressed. BTDT

    Gel battery

Thank goodness for the "AGM's", For me, adding any water to any motorcycle batt is always an aggravation , especially when you got a GS you got to remove the seat, tank, and air box just to see the battery. No more "old lead acid batteries with caps" for me. AGM's for me till they come up with...
