DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

    Any Harley's here?

Not a problem Griff, Yeap Harley's are slow but I like riding mine with forward controls, it's a different feeling plus I like to tinker on them too. The good thing is I can go banging through all 5 gears and not get thrown in jail compared to a GS, Busa or ZX14  Mid 13's would be the norm...

    GS1100EZ - 40hp for $1,000?

I've never had a small end fail or twist on me after thousands of runs with bar or no bar with a 7" slick on me in the past 10 years. It's always a bearing letting go first. The only time I had a twisted crank is when someone sold me a "good" crank and upon inspection I noticed it was twisted...

    GS1100EZ - 40hp for $1,000?

A Katana 750 dot head with a few mods, G4 cams and 14/48 sprockets should wake it up. Less than 500 ebay bucks and you should get more than 20 hp.

    Yamaha TW200

I got 2 of them, both 1996. They will climb almost anything and have good ground clearance. Max out around 65 mph and they are great for trails like 45 mph. I did hit 75 mph going down a steep hill, weighing 230 helped too  Put Slime in the tires and not many cactus will stop you. If you...

    GSX 750 DOT head

Keep an eye on ebay, I found one for 50 bucks, with cam cover, intake boots and all the bolts too. I got another one that I paid around 175 bucks but it had a new valve job, cam cover, intake boots and all the bolts too.

Who has the quikest and fastest GS

Just a few degrees retarded on the intake cam can drop your cranking compression and move your power band higher up in the RPM range, but if you go too far then the engine will be a dog and just lay down. Your trying to find that sweat spot where you come flying out of the hole with topend power...

Who has the quikest and fastest GS

I'd go with a set of flatsides over the 36 cv's and I'd stick with mikuni jets over the dyno jets cause everytime I tried a Dyno jets on my bike it would lean out big time on the top end of the track. A 138 dyno jet is like equal to a 130 mikuni jet and you'll be chasing your tail. If the...

    Finally took my struts off

Well the last time I stood it straight up was years ago when I took the bars off and then let it roll out of the water box during a burn out and the slick gain traction, scared water box guy cause I was heading right at him. I got a GSXR swingarm on it thats has 4" extensions, swingarm pivot to...

    Finally took my struts off

It's been like 10 years running struts with wheelie bars and last year I ran without wheelie bars but kept the struts on. Last year my best 60 ft w/o bars but with struts was a 1.52 So I used my 11" harley shocks I had laying around and made some brackets and bolted them on keeping with the...
