A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Thanks Steve. I actually took a public art pic while out on the scooter last night since it looked like I might win, but the GS one is much better.

Very cool. I've only ever met one short term GSR member in person, but have made some very important connections thru this site. I'm better for it and appreciative.

    My new '83 GS1100E!

Beautiful example, congrats on the purchase. A well worn 83 1100e is what set me down the path for the love of old Suzukis.

An old iron and steel bridge at Frenchtown NJ crossing the Delaware River into PA. This was an epic late night ride full of memories. This was at midnight plus. There was a bright full moon, and it was just a great ride taken after recovering from a minor surgery and before returning to work...

That pic was long enough ago for me to only know that it was shot on film. No idea on what lens was used, but zooms tend to "compress" space and I had one at the time for the old Pentax camera I was using. Cool scooter ornament. My first ride of the year happened last night on mine.

Shortly after a lowside in the early 2000s. Fairing remnants were removed, a crude mirror added and rides continued. This is one of my favorite pictures of the GS. Funny how time carries on. The bike is now in the approximate location of my sister's front porch. IMG-6408 by Glen Brenner, on Flickr

Hey all. Voting for Kerrfunk. I'm not generally a fan of the selective color treatment, but in this case it works well.

    1985 GS700E ?s may get one

Looks nice and original right down to the exhaust. No personal experience but those there who have worked on the carbs say that the airbox is extremely difficult. Have you seen it in person?. I only ask because that's a NJ plate on the car in front of it and your profile says MO.
