A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

    Refurbing My Black OEM Exhaust

Caution!! Caution!! First, congrats on the clean up. I've never seen or heard of an effective clean up process for the black chrome pipes, but it sure looks like your method worked well. They are a chrome based process, similar to silver chrome, but with different chemicals to produce the...

    Suzuki xn85 turbo

Wow - if you can buy one for $2500 that is original, complete, and running - that is a great price. And I don't think I've ever seen any other paint scheme than silver.... Maybe not quarter mile killers, but the 650 is one of the smoothest engines Suzuki ever made, and a lighter bike overall.

    83 gs1100e exhaust on an 82 gs1100e

Hi, 1. The 83 pipes have a larger exit path than the 82 pipes (needed to work properly with the more aggressive cams in 83 motors). So they will not work as well as 82 pipes. 2. Depending on where you are, I have a set of 82 pipes that are perfect that I might consider trading for the stock...

New GS1100 G Restoration Project. Rebuilding my Dad's bike

Hi, Just caught up on your project - great project! Good job on the header bolts too - lots of trouble saved there. These are Suzuki GS 1100GK air shocks. About $500 new to replace IIRC. If I were you, I'd try to clean them up a bit, test 'em and use if possible. Good luck with the project...

    GS Sightings

81 1100E in MA 81 1100E in MA Saw an 81 1100E today on the way home from the office on Concord Rd at the intersection with Route 3, in Billerica, MA. I caught the guy at the light, but with his full face helment, he couldn't hear me ask about the GSR. His response was "it's an 81!" I must...

    Ok this is what happened.

It sounds like your battery died, and there isn't enough voltage to get the starter celinoid to activate the starter. You need to check several items - but first, could you jump start the bike after it died? (If your battery is really dead, there isn't enough to fire the coils, but you said it...
