    Trade???

Yam is a shaftie, three cylinders in line, runs really great. Sometimes tough to start if its been sitting a few days. Other than that, no problems. You're right about being a rare bird, I haven't see another one around here. That being said, I just love the GS 850 G's and that might be The...

    Hydraulic lifters???

Hi to all, My question is, are there hydraulic lifters in the vs800 gl engine on a 2002 Intruder and on an 800 Marauder? I'm looking to upgrade. I know the Intruder is a shaft drive, which I prefer and the Marauder is chain. Just have to make up my mind which bike will suit me better. Thanks

    Cylinder head gasket

I just purchased a cylinder head gasket for my 82 gs850g. Part number 11141-49410 Suzuki genuine parts. This gasket does not look like the one I removed. This one is 5 pieces of metal joined together in several p!aces. There is no fiber like gasket with the metal rings that go around the...

    Carbs

I been trying to sync the carbs on my 1982 gs850g. It was running but not well. Now it won't run at all. I tried adjusting the 3 screws with no luck. I then screwed them all the way down and started backing out 1/2 turn and tried to start the bike. No good. Are there any suggestion on how...

    What did I do wrong

So, in answer to my question, can I use a 1982 cylinder head with 16 bolts and a matching 16 bolt cover from a GL on my G. When I read the I info from the sellers, the head is supposed to fit on the jug. I'm concerned with the switching to a 16 bolt valve cover. Thanks.

    What did I do wrong

Grimly, The last time I contacted you, you spoke of a 79 cylinder head. Would that include an 82 gs850gl cylinder head as well concerning the carbs. I'm searching eBay and all I find are models with 16 bolt valve covers. As I stated before, I have a cylinder head with19 bolts. Thanks for...
