DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Was helping a pal with his little '75 ST90 which takes less than a quart and looked at O'Reilly (closest store). Castrol 10-40 down from $7.99 to $3.87. That's a bargain in my book.

Precious memories back in the first yrs. I's riding GS's, Castrol was what I always used. When it got to over a dollar pr. qt., I seriously thought about going to something cheaper... Thanks for the tip, I'll be in town tomorrow, if they have that deal, around here, I'm in. Thanks.

oh man I've got a few Oreilly gift cards burning a whole in my pocket, this would be perfect. My fleet currently gets fed a steady diet of Rotella 15W-40 T4 diesel oil that all the bikes seem to run well with.

Not so lucky, Local stores didn't have it, I called their Whse. and they don't have it but do show it for $3.85. She looked on her computer and found only 2 qt. in their entire dist. area. She said she would order me some if she could, but said that they couldn't even order it. As always day late and dollar short!!!

Beat me to it. Same situation here, the woman in the local O'Reillys said she thinks it's a discontinued item. The site said local store had some, but no dice. Bummer. She actually took the time to notify HQ, very cool and switched on about her store and vehicles.

Hope O'Rileys isn't doing like many Car dealers, advertise something that seems good, but when you get there, We only had 1 and sold it yesterday, BUT we do have this one.... Hope not, I like O'Rileys

I have always been impressed with O'Reilly's except that jingle annoys me at the end. Well, all the way through actually.

If it walks like a duck...it appears to me the 'home office' is ducking us, even if the local store manager isn't in on it.

I seem to recall Castrol "GT" 20-50 from my earliest days of street riding (1975).

Yeah Castrol seemed to be the go-to. Fidel it up with Castro I used to say.

It's called "bait and switch." I was once prey.

Walking past a mattress store, I saw a sign that read "new pillows, $4.99." I decided to buy my live in girl a cheap gift. (Hey, I could always lay on it myself if she didn't like it.)

"That's garbage," the salesman said. "I wouldn't even sell that to you. But this one is much better for $10." I sprang for it.

My mother didn't raise any slow children, and it wasn't long before I realized there were two possibilities. Either I paid $10 for the $5 pillow, or there never was a $5 pillow. Either way, it was classic bait & switch, and it's technically illegal.

We just had an "O'Reilly's Auto Parts" open up in our town. I get ridiculous deals at Advance Auto for patronizing them for so long, they give me every break possible on price, and some that aren't listed. I'll go check out "O'Reilly's", but keep my patronage to Advance Auto. :)

Nobody around Minnesota has it. Still snow on the ground and it's over $10/Qt every including online. My Kawasaki called for JASO MA2 which for some reason I thought the Rotella did not have. Just checked my bottles, it is rated JASO MA2. Bought 10 gallons when it was on sale for $18.95/Gal a few years ago. Still got 7. It's $23.33/Gal on Amazon which works out to $5.85/Qt

Just wondering if anybody at GSR ever found any of this and how much they found.
