1166 Block and 13-1 Pistons on the Way

I just bought a 1166 Block and 13-1 Piston combo for $385 that I could not pass up. It's even been o-ring and has heavy duty sleeves for nitrous use. My best 1/8 mile run is 7.18 at 97 mph with stock engine. How much time do you think will fall just by adding this block combo with the stock head. Next year I'll add a G3 cams and 33 smooth bores or some 36 flat sides.

The guy had it on Drag Bike.com and got fed up with them and put it on ebay. I was lucky to get it, plus he's coming to our final race here in Abilene and will complete the deal at the track. So I can't complain to much can I, poor me  I mean the block combo not the Rat Bike

Can't wait untill March

No I sure did'nt. I was planning on buying them from Schnitz racing for $380 and I figure it would cost around $100 to $200 just to bore the block. Jeff said the pistons have been fly cut for bigger valves and the block has been O-ring for nitrous use. This block with G3 cams. 36 carbs and his OEM ported head has gone 5.66 in the 1/8. He also stated that with the copper head gasket he did'nt have any leaks around the oil passages and that I wont need a external oil line with these drop in cams. So next month I'm buying some of those cams and will home polishing the head myself. I would love to run 6.50 on this bike at our track.

I paid 100.00 canadian for a three pass bore. Some machine shops charge up to 75.00 a hole........WHAT!. Remember that's only 70% of the U.S. dollar.
