DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Unfortunatly, after his ordeal both front and read right turning signals dont work, headlights out, and the break light is also not working:cry:

so left turn signals are working and tail/running light is working? is the headlight not working on high and low beam or just one?

oops, that post wasnt clear.
The headlight is out(neither high or low beam work).
Both left side turning signals are out(front+rear)AND the brake light is out(is the brake light same as the tail/running light?). I checked the brake light, the bulb is burnt.

Both RIGHT side turning signals work.

semi the same, bulb should have two filaments on the rear. regular light + bright for brakes.

so far it just sounds like a ground came unplugged, recheck the wire bundle under the seat and make sure all connections are good, especially the black with white stripe.

brake light: replace the bulb, turn key on and see if you have a running light, if so, hit brakes and see if the light gets brighter. if so, just a bad bulb. if neither works, check the socket for corrosion, then check the ground (black/white stripe). if running light works, but not the brake light, check the white wire, if the opposite happens, check the brown wire.

turn signals, if the right ones work, check the ground and the bulbs. left side power should be the black wire.

as far as headlights go.. same thing, check the ground, check the bulb, then check the yellow and yellow with white stripe wires. you should be able to jump the headlight to the battery or test between any ground and the yellow or yellow white wire to see if the circuit is completing and voltage is good.

edit: as the right turn signals work, it's probably a bad ground unless something went wrong with the left handlebar lighting switch.

If you fried the ignitor with a bad R/R than a few bulbs will be burnt also.

Thanks everybody,
I put new bulbs in the left side, the front one goes on but does not blink(stays lit), the rear one doesnt light up at all.
Im gonna try and check the wires today, hopefully i can make sense out ouf it

Why won't my bike start? I have the exact same problem on the exact same bike. Replaced the igniter and the R/R but it still won't start :(
