A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

I appreciate it, i am hoping to have it buttoned up in the next couple of weeks:cool:

i really like how you're integrating the seat pan with the tank. most builds leave that bit unattended and it often can look untidy/unfinished. great work man.

Keep it coming, Brandon. Lots of good bits in your project already.
What is the muffler? I like the flared end.
BTW, get those cars out of your bike building area.

the exhaust is just a vance and hines street megaphone, the end cap and "baffle" which is nothing more than a 4'' perforated tube is just something i whipped up from bits around the shop. Oh and i agree those cars are taking up all my workspace! hopefully i can ride it out of there in about two weeks:)

Beautiful bike!

The old timers on here don't like the chopped stuff :p

What front end is that?

cbr929 front end, and wheels. cbr f4i brake calipers and master, and some galfer braided lines

Nice job on the paint & the front end. I look forward to the finished tank too. BUT, the first time around a corner and you hit a bump that bike is going to launch to the right(or left) a foot and all that work is going to be wadded up in the ditch. Pitty, no susp went out a century ago. Hell why not go solid on the front too. I just don't get it. You seem to be talented enough to know better. Nothing personal, just sayin'

WARNING WARNING.......WE HAVE A KNOW IT ALL
okay so far i have been pretty open to everyones ideas and opinions, but that one is just.....bull****. have you ever ridden a rigid bike? obviously not. If it was such a big liability then how in the hell can big chopper shops put out hoards of rigid bikes? I tell you what, if it ends up getting wadded up in the way that you so described i will be sure and post it up for everyone to see. There is no need to even bother putting comments like that in others threads. trust me i know full and well what i am getting myself into, and i also know that the bike works as is

Easy Hondo, don't get your panties in a bunch. Its physics man, why do you think they put shocks on bikes and cars. Yes I have ridden unsuspended bikes & scooters & go carts. What I say is true. I'm sure your build will be a good looking "show" piece and will go around corners adequatly if ridden slowly.

as someone who's never ridden a hard tail i'd LOVE to have a go at that bike and see for myself what all the fuss is about :D

no real update, all the fab work is done, with the exception of the tag bracket/tail light. I am going to be starting on my completely new wiring harness this week.

I assume that you won't be using the red tail section or the red side panels . If not, I want them.

The bike does look rather intimidating. Good work!

sorry dude, i sold all the stock stuff long ago, how do you think i have funded my build. so far i am about 300 bux out of pocket after selling all my stock stuff and using stuff i had laying around. thanks for the compliments though

I think it's looking really freakin sweet!! One question though....are there not going to be any rear brakes or have you just not installed them?

The only thing wrong I see in the above pictures is a poorly placed spray bottle:D

i would say judging by the fact that this forum edits out cuss words i would probably get banned for a picture with **** lol

I see your point about

I see your point about

not bein that rare a bike, but wish you coulda picked one that wasn't quite so nice!!;) That bike was in great shape looks wise for what it is! A shame but I applaud your efforts. :D

actually the bike was pretty beat, it had the used car clean up. lots of rattle can and about a gallon of bondo on the tank. The only thing nice about it was the engine and paint. the seat was wore out, tires were junk, wheels were pitted, forks pitted, brakes barely worked, and so on
