A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

1st Annual Tina Wasserott Memorial Brown County Rally - May 2011 - Video

Wow, super job. It is apparent to even an extremely untrained observer such as myself that you invested a lot of edit time in the work. And great choice of music.

Very well executed video! So, THAT'S how you are supposed to do it! ;)
Why 2 different downloads of the same video?
The first one, appears to be of much better picture quality. Is that why?

Thanks for sharing, hoping to see more.

Thanks Don...

Only a day editing...
It was a rainy Saturday...and I enjoy messing with this stuff...a pro could have knocked it out in a few hours, (and done a better job:D)

The music is just some generic, royalty free stuff generated by a program I use...don't want to be stealing copyrighted material....

Bob,

Very nice. The ending is an especially nice and thoughtful touch.......

Excellent job, Bob. :)

Thank You , very much

Bob,

Great vidio.
Nice selection of camera perspectives.
I too was going to comment on the music.

Tell me more about this:
....

Just pondering/quessing: Select different instruments, select what type of music, select tempo. ....
Is it ment for non-musicans? Is it ment for non-GraphicArtists?

Dave

>>later note.
Ah, maybe it is what you created that is royalty free.
Not that the program is free.

I was not very accurate in my description...it actually doesn't create music, but you modify pre-made music.
And no the program is not free, sorry. And you have to buy the base music CDs.
But you put your video in a timeline, pick your music and modify it to work with the video...
Some of the music is multi-layered so you can switch between different instrument combinations...
Here is the website if your interested in more info... http://www.smartsound.com/sonicfire/

There are programs that create new, legal music, but I understand you need a bit of music knowledge...Sony has one, I think.

HTH,

Awesome stuff, Bob ... nice job, and great ending! Sorry I missed it!!

Regards,

Bob...you've got some real talent there. One of the best riding videos I've seen. Much more than raw footage. Very cool use of the three camera angles. Thanks for posting!

Of course you like it...you had a starring role...;):D

Very nice video once I was able to watch it without it trying to reload every few seconds (upgraded my network today). Did you use a couple of different cameras for the over the shoulder/looking backwards views or is that all one camera?

I have issues streaming HD videos myself. I have a crappy service. What I do is start and pause the video and walk away...when the buffering bar is all the way to the end, then I watch it.

One camera. The first forward looking camera was on the fairing, the second forward shots, (the second half of the video), was helmet mounted. Both of those were done on Friday. I turned it on at a gas stop and turned it off at the next stop, so I had about 80-90 minutes of each one. The rear shots of the wife and me I did on Saturday. I could reach the camera then, so I turned it off when things got boring.

Anyway, yes...there was editing trickier involved. In fact, if you look close in some shots, the sun is coming from our right hand side looking forward and left hand side looking back....;)
Plus, I had to play with the colors a little...I lost my polarizing filter Saturday morning...so I didn't have it for the rear view shots...

Aside from all that it came out OK...but it is about 2 minutes too long...
