A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

I was at byron too. I went 0 for 3 bad weekend for me and my bracket racing.
1st day I rode my silver 2V 1000
2nd day I rode the bright yellow 1428 16 V

batfam you should have came down to the KPM camp and said hi. Joe is racing a bike again this year - we shamed him into it.

Got my second win for the year saturday. I didn't buy back in so this time I actually got some points. My lights were pretty good. between an .010 and .031. Bike ran like a clock. Very easy to dial in.

I stuck my camera in a 9 second big block camaro. Came out pretty cool.

Well, no racing for us this year....

Just got out of the hospital and will be on Coumadin for the next six months and my Doctor said no racing while I'm on it.
If I were to suffer internal injuries, I might not make it to the hospital in time.

Don't know if you saw it in the OT section...

Just got my headers re-coated, too....

Hey Bob, I'll give you 100 bucks CASH for the header right NOW!!! LOL!!! J/K!! I hope you heal quickly & get through this in record time! Ray.

I went 5 rounds Saturday for the win. I was hitting the tree pretty good. During eliminations my slowest light was in the mid .030's.

Friday night I went with my dad to Summit Motorsports park for the NHRA race. I'll try to get some video up in a couple days.

I am going to race next year and cutting the light is my biggest worry.
I'll probably look like a fool the first couple of times.

You'll do fine Bill! I recommend you try a practice tree like mine with the handlebars & clutch lever on it. I still need your address to send you that 40 bucks for those parts! Ray.

You have my paypal e-mail. ;)

If you've never done it leave on the third yellow. Focus on that light. Leave real easy at first. Like leaving from a stop sign.

I struggled bad at the start of the year. About half my lights were red and then I had some in the .073 range. I'm finally starting to get things in order.

Here is some of the video I shot Friday at SMP.

Took a runner up finish at Norwalk last night.

Day started out with severe thunderstorms rolling thru in the morning. About noon the weather cleared up and we had blue sky. Loaded up real quick and headed out. Didn't get to Norwalk until about noon. Got in 1 time run. Found out the clutch was dragging. Didn't want to come out of gear and was pulling me forward a bit and trying to stall the motor on the line. Took it all apart, but didn't find anything broken. Added a little oil. Almost went home, but then decided to give it a try.

First round got real lucky. He left in the wrong gear and I was sleeping on the tree. Let me just say I hate auto start. After we both staged I bet we sat there for almost 10 seconds. I started wondering what was wrong and lost focus on the tree. Went .06 something. It was later explained to me that the tree will start 3-10 seconds after both racers stage.

Ran some good racers after that and hit the tree much better. Last 2 rounds one of the other racers towed me up to try and keep the heat out of the clutch. Thanks to Brian for the help. In the final flinched hard and went .017 red. All in All it was a good day. Now I just need to take the clutch apart and see whats going on. I'm guessing a warped steel.

Went 4 rounds for the win last night at TRP. I should be tied for first now. Lights were .027, .019, .020, .076, .033, and .011 in the final. the .076 was the bye run. I can never cut a light in a bye run.

They had a quick 8 door slammer race. Run what you brung anything goes to the 1/8th mile. here is some video including the first round.

You da man Ryan!
I just got a pipe, ignition and some adjustable cam sprockets. A little at a time!

I put together a compilation video of the bike racers that have been coming out to Thompson this year. At least the ones I've gotten on tape. I went to the semis last night. First round had a .0000 light. Second round dodged a bullet going .047 on the tree. Third round went .013 to his .010 and ran 9.491 on my 9.47 giving him the win.

Excellent clip, Ryan.
Your track has a nice set-up for the fans with the elevated walkway over the starting line.
Do you know the rider with the blue bike at the 2m40s mark? Nice body language on a smooooth launch.
