A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Does anybody know the name of the blue the 77 bike came with? Have a set of decals on their way from reproduction decals - do these provide the colour code?

Or does anybody know the colour code, or how to obtain it?

Thanks, Dave.

my painter has it and i think he used PPG paints..may take me a few days but i can see if i can get it from him. Had mine done aq year ago so i know he has it somewhere.

Thanks Chuck, that would be great! Decals will take a few day to arrive from Canada anyway.

Take it easy, Dave.

Cerulean blue 03R (tape)

Thanks for that chaps! If you can confirm this Chuck, I would be most grateful.
The paint code for the body work "as I see it" is 03E "POTOMAC BLUE METALLIC".

(at least for this side of the pond)

Hi,

I concur with Dale. For the tank and other body parts, the "O3E" Suzuki code, called "Potomac Blue" corresponds to the Color-Rite code 4412L. According to the parts fiche, the color code for the tape set is "61P" and the entire part number is 61800-45810-61P. That tape set is a combination of 764 (Gold) and O3R (Cerulean Blue).

That chart on Alpha-sports.com is hard to read.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

Dale...Dont anyone quote me on this as i will have to check with John the painter, but i thought he said it was called Pearl Black Bluing...I will call him tomorrow anyways because i told him no rush on my tank but its getting warm and now i want him TO rush...LOL..I will also get the manufacturer and the paint code and post it as soon as i get that info..

So Cerulean blue is just the decal code, hence the (tape)?
The colour (sorry color) I'm after is Potomac blue!
Thanks for all your help - really appreciate it:clap:
