I have a problem with my 1977 suzuki gs550, its my first bike so im still a little new to it. It had sat for a couple months before i bought it and when i start it it starts up nicely with the choke on but once it warms up the idle shoots up to about 3000-4000, if i give it some gas it just dies also if i try to adjust the choke it dies too. I am almost positive it is the carbs, is there something else that could be causing that? if it is the carbs, does it make sense to just spend the extra money to have them rebuild rather than just cleaned since i dont want them to tell me that they need to take the carbs out again to rebuild them since cleaning didnt work and charge me the labor all over again
