A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Blairsville, started class in April 06. Hasn't done much for me either financially. Keeps me out of trouble and lets me build things. I plan to sell this after I have ridden it a while. I have three others in the works.
Loving it bro! When and what campus did u go to Wyotech? I graduated from the Blairsville campus is 05. Hasnt done much for me yet

Gloss dude, flat is gettin really old. Never really liked it anyways.. Ya go thru all the trouble of buildin a scoot and then blow flat black on it, damn near a crime..

I just got myself a powdercoat machine form HF.
I blasted Matte Black Powder on my buddys tank, side pans and rear fender and it looks sweet!

The powder coat doesnt collect oil from your hands when you touch it. Its great. I went nuts and started powder coating everything thats chrome on my bike gloss black. It fits the styke of my ride and looks killer.

Totally worth the small change.

Okay found your thread and read all through it. I am now dying to know if you finished this project and if you have any pics of it. I am loving the color scheme and would like to see the finished product.

Man, I was sooo hoping to see the final outcome and I'm way curoius about that rear tire, I want one!

Still planning on copying your build a little bit, maybe without all the go fast holes on the gusseting and my build will end up a little more rattier.

Does anyone know if KRS is still floating around out there? I would love to see the final product of this build so I am going to randomly bump it.

I found KRS I am going to make him come back and finish this post darn it.:D

Dooh, I found him he said he has the tank on it but it went on the back burner and he has not finished it up yet. Lets see if I can get him to post some more recent pics.

I am back. I had to open a new account here on the gsresource. I have the seat finished but not the tank. Not much going on with this bike. I was actual contemplating selling it on the cheap, if anyone is interested. I will gets some pics of the seat soon.

Three years ago when I was down in Kingsland I would probably have jumped all over that offer but long way to ride to get it from maine. lol.

Can't believe I just encountered this thread! Nice work indeed, I've never thought of paint matching the frame/cylinder jugs, excellent work

Thanks, I just thought it would tie the motor into the frame.

Were you planning on matching the tank to the frame or doing something different?
