All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Yeah, I saw the pics, but after 20 years, they all look the same. Mine started out at like 14 to 1 compression, & the tops had been cut down, to make them appx. 11 to 1. Worked pretty good for the st. but sorry I don't remember anything else. Contact Yosh. Maybe they can help.

No Chef, my cylinders and pistons are the same. I just dont know what I'm going to need for rings and pins! I've never dealt with anything other than stock. The measurements mean nothing to me and I dont know what I need or where to get it. Thanks

I took some more measurements and the best I can come up with is that the cylinders and the pistons are 75mm give or take. I took the measurement from the bottom of the piston.

I was also told that its an 1166. Wiseco has the only 1166 or could it be from someone else? I dont know, thats why I'm asking. Thanks guys. Greg

Here is pics of my 1166 build in progress.
If they are indeed Wiseco you can buy rings, pins and circlips. Only use Wiseco circlips for Wiseco pistons.http://www.wiseco.com/PDFs/Catalogs/CB07/SuzukiCycleStreetOverbore.pdf

Not sure if they are Wiseco brand. I know Ape sells a 1168 kit.http://gszone.biz/enginekits.html

Those look like my pistons. Do you have or can post anymore pics? It would be great to be able to order what I need. Thank you, Greg

I cant tell from the picture, are they flat or is there a slight dome?

From that one they look flat. Thank you. Also numbers stamped on the top that I dont have.

Flat. I do not have a C or a 1 on the top of the pistons. There was a round symbol in the center and an arrow pointing the direction for the piston during assembly. I hope someone here knows the C and 1 on your piston and can identify it.

I do not have an arrow for direction of piston for assembly either!

I do want to thank you again Chef for what your doing here. Your giving me a little more insight and hope that I can get this monster back together without possibly selling a kidney! I tried putting the kids on Ebay, but everyone wants younger ones, not my teenagers!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks

Just checking things out at Wiseco and the pins match exactly- 2.472in on the money. Thats very hopefull in my eyes!!!!
