A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

82 gs750 6 sigma stage 3 kit problems

Yea really odd but through alot of searches I found a form from a guy in the uk that had some main air correctors he said the company didn't make them any more but they were a must back in the day for kz and gs when you put pods on them

..CV carbs?

Ya I wish I would of pay the extra for the dynojet, does anyone understand why I have to block them air ports do I need bigger mains? That's what I'm leaning towards

Besides the stage 3 kit, only thing different is I installed the rubber plug under the pilot jet it didn't have them when I took the carb apart should they be in there

Guessing no one knows why I have to block that air port for them to run right?

When I bought my 11E eight years ago it ran great with stock air box and V&H 4-into-1. I installed APE pods and it was unrideable. I had to cover about 90% of the pods with tape to get it to run good. My mechanic asked me to spring for a Dynojet stage 3 kit, which I did. He said it was then relatively easy to jet it on his dyno, though he didn't give me specifics.

So I'd say if blocking off some of the air improves it, it's not getting enough fuel.

But its just the small main air jet that has to be blocked not the one with the air jet screw but on the other side of the back of the carb

And I'm running 135s and 137.5 mains I feel like that should be plenty of fuel

You probably block that air jet to compensate for something in the middle of the throttle would be my guess. The later carb kits from DJ do something similar with a restrictor.

I don’t see how you’re going to get a good setup without a needle. Your mains sound way too big to me. Yes you need to plug the bottom of the main jet, without it the bike will pull through there at idle instead of using the pilot jet....
