I'll try to post a story of the 563 mile adventure to get this a bit later.
Meanwhile, GSExpress and I took a trip to save a couple of SUZUKI'S from certain death.
The shop was in the middle of a major remodeling job when this interruption came up so please excuse the disaster area.
I was not planning on pulling a bike in until it was straightened out.
But, as curiosity always gets the best of me...
here is the beginning of what was a complete basket case of an '83 GS1100GK.
When saved:
Crammed it into the shop after throwing some stuff out of the way...
After adding water to the deceased battery, adding some quarts of Rotella and T-6 into the empty crankcase,
a gallon of gasoline into the clean as a whistle inside fuel tank, replacing some missing carb hoses,
adding a missing spark plug and connecting some wires here and there, placing on a battery charger and...

Tomorrow, perhaps some intake manifold O-rings and a little work on the rusty carbs.
