DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

A very bad...bad E-bay'er and a GS'er too?

Hmm, the title of his auction seems to make it very clear it was a 750 Slingshot head. I guess he didn't see that.

OK tell me what you think. The head I got was not a 88 or 89 slingshot head.

The seller now says he's make's no reference that he was selling one.

I'm confused. I guess i was bidding on something else. If any of you folks have any ocean front property in Arizona let me know cause I'll bid on it. :D

I'm letting PayPal take care of this.

Your getting stroked. Scan through the guy's buying/selling items, he knows GS's, so he certainly knew what, (or what not) that cyl. head really was.

8O He is currently selling a stock GS1100 arm with a starting bid of $125! 8O

Bloke seems right dodgy.

I hate to see this Jake. I'm fighting a guy over a Ninja 250 I bought off ebay...it wasn't anything like he said it was. I've not found ebay to be very supportive in my attempts to get things straightened out. I'm glad you paid for your's through Pay Pal...let us know how they treat this situation.

I would be interested in reading his letter to you.

Me too!

I blame myself cause he e-mail me first that he had a Slingshot head on e-bay. He had the picture of the head on another listing. What cracks me up is my PayPal receipt says I've paided for a Slingshot head. Bid history shows I was bidding on a Slingshot head.

So he's mad cause I filed with PayPal and his account is locked. Then he said I didn't pay which I did back on 17Dec05. So he had a strike place on me which i sent Ebay the info and they removed it.

So I gave him a neg feedback and he did in return. So to me this is no big deal cause I'm not a company trying to sell anything. It's not my lively hood but it may be his.

So it's been fun going back and fourth.

The Good news is my 1150 head should be back this weekend with the bigger intake valve's and this gives me alttle time before our first test and tune in Feb to get it all back together.

Good luck with your battle Hap.

I wish I'd paided with a credit card cause I'd do a charged back and mail his head back to him and be done with it.

He's complaining that all sale's are final, but this is the USA and nothing is final till I say so

jake.......I am choked when I hear about these losers.....

cantact ebay again..you can have your neg removed since bubba is brain dead and you have ample proof.

your feedback is in the ditch now and may effect your buying ability???

good luck dude and bye the way....I am still looking.

Jake. The rockers look the same as what I have. Are you sure it's a 90 750. I read on psychobike they thought it was early model??????

Then I guess it's a 86-87 head.

Doesn't matter now, you used your resourcefulness Jake to secure the parts you needed. Kudos! We should make this head part of his head though if he doesn't make good on this

I think the best part of this deal is all the good information that come's from everybody on what a 88-89 Slingshot head really is.

I guess some folks just call any 1980's Gixxer a Slingshot :-({|= [-X

I checked it out, it's the same pic and wording of a listing he had back in Dec. They both give each other Pos feedback. Now he's listing the same thing again in Jan. Something smells, I think he padding his feedback rating.

I thought you could contact ebay when someone leaves you BS negative feedback and they would remove it. I may be wrong.
