A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • This forum is for placing reviews for parts, accessories, gear and service as it relates to your GS motorcycle. The key here is "GS Related". There is a bit of latitude here but we don't want to see a review on Maytag washers just because that's what you use to clean your riding jacket in.

Keep your review as factual as possible and please refrain from personal attacks. Posted articles will be reviewed by the Editors and may be removed at their discretion.

So let's make this a useful addition to the forum! A special pat on the back goes to Hap Call for coming up with this great idea.

The views expressed in this forum are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of "The GSResources" or the editors.

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Great to do business with. Ordered tires on monday and got them on friday.

Cool! AMT consistently gets good ratings.
http://www.americanmototire.com

They're located in Scottsdale, AZ, which can affect shipping times for those of us in the Midwest or East.

A few others that are also fantastic:

http://tiresunlimited.com
Located in Dayton, OH, and they stock what they sell. Eyesore of a web site. Reasonable shipping charges. Real phone number with clueful people if you have a question. And for me, standard UPS shipping is overnight to Indy! \\:D/

http://denniskirk.com
Located in Minnesota a bit north of MSP.
After years of absolutely unholy and evilly inflated tire pricing, DK finally got with the program and their pricing is now in line with the rest. Free shipping on orders over $100, their site shows current inventory, and they ship same day. Great if you're in a hurry. One tire order actually shipped from Tires Unlimited and arrived a day early (woohoo!), so they're hooked together somehow.

Possibly not as fantastic, but I've had good luck:
http://swmototires.com
Located in Tucson, AZ
Free shipping on sets of 2.
I've had great service from them twice, but a buddy had a problem that dragged on for far too long when they sent a 16 inch front tire instead of 19, then screwed up the refund twice... you'd think they wouldn't hire dyslexic stock pickers. Not sure if they're affiliated with American Moto Tire in Scottsdale.

Yes, I go through a helluva lot of tires...

I will concur with Tires Unlimited as a good supplier. However, I don't even have them ship them.

Nope, I just take the wheels off the bike, toss them (carefully) into the back of the van, and drive the 20 minutes up there.
They mount and balance them, I take them home and put them on. Just can't beat that. \\:D/
The in-store prices are just a bit higher than the web prices, but I guess it makes up for the shipping costs.
