DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • This forum is to be used by folks who sell parts or services for GS series motorcycles regularly, or as a business.

If you are interested in providing parts and/or service to GSResource members it is expected that you will 1) keep customers informed on the status of their order, 2) you will reply to customer emails and PM's in a timely manner, 3) you provide what is agreed to in a timely manner. If personal circumstances prevent you from doing this, then you are expected to inform the customer before any transaction takes place. Failure to follow these basic business rules will force me to ban your forum account and list you in the Deadbeat forum.

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Hi, my name is Timothy and I run a small CNC shop making motorcycle parts. This is my full time employment. It's called TracTech Manufacturing and you can find it at www.tractechmfg.com. I offer a discount for members of this forum so use GSR10 for 10% off any parts I have in stock. For those who might recognize the parts, yes I'm the same guy who owned Demon Speed Racing. Yes, still going, I just changed the business name this year to a more 'official' business name. I can answer all your questions about my products so feel free to ask.

I couldn’t see any plates for the GS1100, are they the same as the GS750s that you have on your site?

Hi guys!

The GS1000 and the GSX1000 is the same as the GS1100.
I included dimensional pics of the plates in the gallery of each set so you can measure up your forks to make sure it's the correct one.
European and Australian GS's had different anti dives in different years.

If I had an original pressure switch plate I'm sure I could make the extra port version easily.
Discounts for GSR members would still apply.

Timothy

I found a pressure plate off of a GS1150.
Is that the same as the GS1000 and GS1100's?

Timothy,

Do you have a template for the anti-dive units on the 1981-1983 Yamaha XJ750? I didn't see them on your website.

If you do, I'd be interested in purchasing a set. If you don't and are interested in creating them, I could send you units to use as a guide.

Just let me know. Thanks.

Hi Griffin,

As far as I know all Yamaha anti dive units were identical except for the XVz1200 which used the same internal dimensions but had a different exterior profile.
So the RZ500 or FJ1100 anti dive by pass plates should fit.
If you want to make sure, in my website, www.tractechmfg.com there is a picture in each listing with dimensions you can double check with.
I also offer a 100% fit guarantee. That means I pay for shipping there and back as well as a 100% refund if I recommend the wrong one.
If it is different, send me your anidive unit and I'll send you a free set for being the first one.

Timothy
