A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

I took a nice ride today with my wife on the 1000G, honest, but without any pics it didn't happen! hint, hint....for anyone going for a ride today take some pics (of bike is more important but scenery back drop is nice). We are a visual crowd here and have trouble reading words!! Kinda like looking at pics in the bike magazines and then reading the captions.
BTW Eli that Titan is a cool looking bike. Now I'll go back and read the text.:witless:

after some business in the city i decided to ride through the town i grew up in. this overgrown bridge is how we got over the river and through the woods to grandma's house every sunday. the newer bridge behind was built in the 70's. the high school is nearby and this was a major skip out spot. we also would climb out to the peirs of the new bridge and repel down.

snow forecast this weekend... this could be it.

Took a ride tonight on what will likely be the last warm weather ride. Tried to get some pics, but my crappy camera wouldnt play, so i got this at the local soccer fields. Earlier, the football fields had the lights on and i had visions of a pic of my cycle in a dark foreground illuminated by the camera flash, with the background lit the by the faraway field lights....when i returned the lights were off.
http://

Ha, thats cool....The football fields had much higher lights, and a few spots to get a long shot with an uncluttered background. Plus the fields dropped down so i was hoping to have gotten a shot with the bike in an uncluttered background with only a ghostly white cast behind
It. Anyway.......

Rode to work only 1 day last week.
Scraped frost off car one day, and scraped ice off car on another day.

Did get out for a ride on Saturday and on Sunday.
Was great.
Had some occurances on both days that could be a story (maybe later).

Picture from Sunday.

Not much for fall color anymore, but did stop here to look around for a while.

Could say fall color is "past prime".
Or could say that fall color is mostly brown, and blowing around on the ground.

This is the shafty week I guess. Got out for a great 440km ride today on the 'G'. Beautiful weather, high was probably around 14C, maybe a bit colder here and there.

Finished up in Port Alberni. Rain threatened on and off but managed to avoid it the whole day.

I'm having a F***ing fit here, weather is absolutely awesome here and I'm not able to take advantage it of, work is messing with my ride time!! lol

Brother-in law had a 24 hour pass in a training cycle and wanted to ride one last time as this season is pretty much done for him and he leaves in January on Deployment. He returns Dec 2015 so even though it was 28 degrees this morning we rode. Had a good time but it was windy and felt that much colder. We took my bikes and he had fun on the KZ twin. The riding season is about over for me, after the first snow they'll start with the sugary/syrup liquid crap they spread all over that supposedly de-ices ( it's slick) and the sand, ect doesn't help traction much either.

I had a great ride today, I rode the fort Renfrew loop again.
Great ride except my knees got too cold. no more long rides until it's not fuc&ing cold.

It was the day to go for a ride here on VI.Me and my bud went to Jordan River then to the Duc store for him to drool on a 1198 Pingalle(sp?)

Good that you guys got out, and that you made it happen for him.

KZ400. A blue 79 like that was my first bike.
Looks fairly stock except for the modified exhaust.

Yep, season coming to close. Been scrapping frost off of car more than have been riding. < < heavy sigh > >
