DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

...

Jedz, Let me see if I understand properly.... to get to work and back, you rode nearly 4 hours and nearly 200 miles, or was that just the ride home?. And..... then? then took Shan for a ride.

So, your ride home, is about like a big long planned, rare occasion, adventure for me.

Okay, now I am starting to understand how you get the mileage you do.

Now on the Bike I just ride. So I usually straight shoot it to work than I just get lost after work on my way home... Everyday.
So yesterday i rode 20 miles in, I went for about 120 mile ride after work, went home picked up my Mrs and rode 40 more miles together..

This is what makes me feel alive... Hell of a great day to blast after a pretty rough day at work...

It's nice to be back on a bike that's worth a damn...

Damn you, you're making me want one. Also what are the orange and green lights illuminated for?

Orange light is the wheelie/traction control "off" light.
Green light is the cruise control.

i met these folks at a parking spot in the https://www.fws.gov/refuge/iroquois/. this guy rode a really cool bandit and his olady had a pretty honda shadow. i blurred their faces cuz i didn't ask if i could use their picture but you gotta see this guy's riding gear.

he seemed to like my old skunk and took several pictures of it. we talked bikes and stuff for a half hour or so. they were great. the wildlife refuge itself is really kinda just a boring swamp.
aarrrrggggh!

216 miles today out to Iron Pony via I-70 and back home via I-70/US-42. I originally wanted to ride south to Athens OH then west through Chillicothe but the storm coming North from Kentucky interrupted those plans.

I took a ride up to Buffalo New York today. I stopped at the Anchor Bar for Wings. It's a pretty cool place with motorcycles hanging from the ceiling. It started to get late and a little cool, so I got a hotel room for the night. I plane on taking the scenic route to home tomorrow.

Rode over 250 miles yesterday through Placerville and on to Georgetown where I met some friends. Then east to the end of Wentworth road where we stopped to rest and visit. 150 miles of that was wonderful twisties and sweepers and elevation changes. Great day. The crew:

Awesome bike!!!

I just picked up a new one (HERO 3 black) for $90... It's awesome. Makes good video. Interface is archaic but that's ok... It's a great drop it and drive by it camera!
