A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I've ridden to work the past three days. Love this bike. It is waaaay overjetted, though. Doesn't help that the fuel gauge isn't working. I think it's getting about 20 mpg, so the carbs will be coming apart again this weekend.
Don't be alarmed when your only getting 35-40mpg... I have mine jetted on the rich side and that's what I typically get. 1.2L for ya. hahaha

Hey, Sam, Good to see you are getting out some anyway. The snow piles show that it wasnt anywhere near warm.

One pic the road looks colored white with salt residue. That would be when I say "May not be too cold to ride, but is too cold to wash bike when get back." (so I most likley dont ride).

Weather is NOT holding out in the state north of ya Sam...
Still managed to make it out and get this awesome view. Ice is starting to take hold of the lake, everything white and clean, the mountains are absolutely stunning right now. Why I live in Vermont... I absolutely love it here, all year round.

Little bit cool here today at around 7 (45) but sunny and dry roads!
My son had to cut out grass on Friday...lol

Added a few more break-in miles this morning.
.............
Great pics.
What is that place in the 2nd pic, the round building....? A lighthouse...? An observatory...? Has a bit of an appearance as someplace where would not expect any vehicle traffic.

Keep posting. My only activity with bike(s) in near future will be pushing it into back corner of the garage.

Thanks guys. The round building is indeed an observatory, and it sits at the top of a really fun piece of road. The downside is that it is a government facility and the road is only open during "business hours" (and sometimes special occasions). Still, it's one of my favourites.
