A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I am about teo hours into a 550km ride, but it is on my other bike (a Ducati 900SS).

No pics yet. It's starting to rain, and I have 400 km left before I can park at my mother's outside Oslo.

Found a way to get off the SV650 two days ago and back on the GR. (No crash, just meant I am riding the GR while waiting to get the tire changed on the SV.) Good reason to have a second bike.

Got home after filling the tire up (apparently the nail sealed the hole,) but it was a long slow trip home with a lot of stops to check the air pressure.

New tire in hand, but last time I tried to change a tire bwringer had to give me disc from his parts bin to replace the one I bent. Took him about ten minutes to do what I had spent two days on. May have met my Wterloo when it comes to changing tires.

This was taken the other day when Glen (Eddie21) my cousin and I went and did the Port Renfrew loop. Awesome deserted logging roads. I rode my wife little bandit, what a blast that was!:D

That was a fun ride! Good to shake off the old cobwebs. Great to see that little 400 being flicked around. I think the old forests are still ringing with the sound of my Kerker reverberating amongst the trees!

Always love to see pictures of Norway.

Had the 850 over the top of the mountain today. On my return was a bit annoyed to see the right hand swing arm cover missing - C'est la vie.
Then I thought, did I do anything unusual on the bike today. As it happened I did. A wasp found it's way into my shirt via an open jacket collar and started to do what wasps do when frightened. I then started to do what humans do when being stung multiple times inside a shirt on mountain twistys. Mainly this involved thumping myself repeatedly with my clutch hand and swearing. Eventually I pulled over , ripped open everything and evacuated the wasp. What were the chances that this was the exact spot I dropped the cover? Back to the top and there it was. :)

There aren't many people that post from Asia. Hakem, from Malaysia has posted pictures several times. It's a treat.

Took a ride up to Challis, Idaho this last weekend to get away for a couple of days. Only my second trip up to that part of the state and first on a bike. Great roads to ride and breathtaking scenery.

Packed up ready for the off...

Stopped to stretch our legs between Banks and Lowman...

Only stopped for gas after that until we got to where we were staying. Nice bed and breakfast, really quiet and very easy to relax. The Kat's in the shade cooling off while we did the same with a cold beer!

Next day we went further North to Salmon.

Where we stopped in town and had lunch.

From there we went North again to Lost Trail Powder Mountain ski resort right on the state line between Idaho and Montana before heading back South to the bed and breakfast. Next day (Sunday) we took our time getting away heading home.

Heading in to Stanley, Idaho on Hwy75.

Stopped in at Redfish Lake on our way through.

Passed a milestone on the way back to Lowman, wasn't sure how to feel about it really.

Ok, let's get back home...

Turned out to be a great weekend trip. Looking forward to the next!

I love touring on my Katana. Yours looks great loaded up out on the road.

Great picture of scenery and bike, and great pictures of road and bike.

That 10 thousand? (not 70)
... and looks like you documented the place it happened, too.
... and a nice place it was.
... and nice photo with view ahead and view behind in mirror
