DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Little cold but it was alot of fun.Another 60 miles down.

that's a pretty wild photo. Hard to see the mountains but the shadow of the bike and the sun, very cool. Too bad about all the power lines. Like really, why didn't they just bury them all to start with?

yes, that's a nice photo, there,Rustystuff. +1 on those powerlines and poles. (were it mine, I'd be tempted to start up a picture editor to clone em out just to see)

geez, I like that photo!

A crazily beautiful day here (71deg) and took a quick jaunt this a.m. to confirm that this Sargent saddle is not for my butt or longer inseam (happy w/ Corbin). Got about 40 miles in as we get close to 41,000 mile mark ...

Went out with the Katana folk yesterday, a bit of a warm up ride for their big Stage of Origin ride in a couple of weeks.

8 Katanas on the day although I only managed to get 7 in the same photo... a bit overcast which was nice as it kept the temperature down, it's been a killer lately when combined with the humidity.

And of course the renegades including the rare V Twin Kat :D

So, would this be the only place in the world where 8 Kat riders get together .... and seem to do it on a regular basis.
.

It certainly seems that way! I can't wait to get my own and increase the number even more :D

Actually there is one other place in the world where there are even more that get together and ride together regularly... Japan.

One of the moderators on the Katana Australia forum went there for a big event and there was a carpark jammed full of Kats... that was a site to see!

I Like KATANAS lol

A 750 I had in the summer , I traded it for that Suzuki turbo again I should have kept it lol, Brian

Yup, you shoulda kept it :p

Looks like a bunch of fun Eli but tell me... can you get your knee down on that thing? :p

:D no knee draggin but a good ride is quite a workout. my little old scoot has a very narrow stance compared to the newer, bigger rides. takes a bit of balancing work to keep from tipping over. especially after i enjoy my favorite canadian liqueur and riding companion yukon jack.

Hahahaha... I know nothing about snowmobiles with us having our 365 day riding season here... but it looks like it could be tricky as well as fun! A narrow track certainly would make it tricky when cornering!

As for your chosen beverages... they're purely for medicinal purposes to keep you warm out in the snow right? :p

Once I got out of my driveway, it's a fine day. Went down to the pier ...

...to visit the sea lions.

( Washington State folk might recognize their former ferry, the Rhododendron, moored out. 'Not sure where she'll go from here....likely towed away for scrap, which is sad.)

Well we've got a little less snow down this end of the Island. Glenn, Trevor and I got out for a short 100KM ride yesterday. Beautiful day, above 10C all day.

It's not often you get to see this scenario, Glenn's beautiful Kawi being pondered over by a mechanic.

It was a great day for a ride! What a great bunch of guys at Kenco. Wayne, the mechanic, diagnosed 2 issues that I've been having with the old girl. Who would have thought that a Dyna ignition coil would fail after only a few thousand kilometer's? With only 3 cylinder's it was a little tough of a ride with the bike burping and farting all the way home!:o

Did my usual 70 mile loop. It was 32F when I left, but the road were dry and dirty in places. Saw a few random snowflakes. Yesterday would've been better, sunny and 48, oh well.
