A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I keep forgetting how much fun it is to bomb around on a little bike.
Out for an hour or so on my '65 CB160 ending up at this junked, fake pirate ship.

Ahhh yes! Something slower to keep you out of trouble, but still pretty quick, and darn light and agile... I have a second GS750 to build, but I am obsessed with the idea of getting a GS425 or GS400 so I can put in some Wiseco 844 pistons for a 10.25:1 449cc with 1100 swingarm, better brakes, 2:1 header, kickstart only battery delete, drag bars, sticky tires... I know it would be a BLAST to ride around town and in the twisties.

Hope to have some pictures Friday or Sunday of some riding to post!

Anyone not go for a ride today? Lol.

We got an 80% chance of rain tomorrow, and I'm contemplating it...

Yup no ride today..oh wait I'm at work lol....but on Sat got a benefit run and another later that evening at a dealership.

I'm hoping I can get to do this ride. About 40 bikes showed up for the first one last year, they are expecting close to 70 for this year's ride. And yes I was in 4-H eons ago lol.

Heading up to Prescott on the bike for a weekend in cooler weather. Rain is predicted for the afternoons, but that's no biggie.

I would say go by my former GF's place and take her for a ride, she likes motorcycles, she even took all her gear with her lol. She would flip out lol.

Oops I lied, she forgot to take her helmet, I still have it yet.

My daugther's friend insisted I take his bike out for a run yesterday, so I did....Aprillia Mille sport bike. Nice bike, v-twin with lots of torque and Ducati sounding rotax engine. But not my style with the hbars and seating postion. Getting too old with wrists and neck not what they used to be. I guess my jacket and gloves don't match the bike either.

This photo shows the back half of this group that went past. The first few guys thought they were Marc Marquess or something.
Sport bike group with back patches. Back half of the group was real loud. Could hear them for quite some time.

Well I did today but that was just to work and back, however I haven't logged in for quite a while so I haven't posted about the annual Laverda Concours they have here which I attended with a few of the Katana Australia/GSR folk.

I was using my work iPhone and somehow I seemed to have turned on some weird effect on the camera part way through the photos so some seem very bright and shiny when they shouldn't be...

It was a great morning out with some good blokes looking at some nice bikes and I took a ride over our local Mt Nebo/Mt Glorious on the way down in the morning as well.

One day I'll work out my video editing properly and post some videos with my new GoPro I got for my birthday too!

Tried to go for a ride today with Trevor but didn't get very far........

She asked me what we 'thought' we were doing, I said "95?" ...wrong...116 kms. Not too bad really considering. Very nice RCMP officer and let us both off with a warning. This was the first time I had been pulled over in Canada since I got back into the bikes 8 yrs ago, not bad. I kept trying to figure out where she came from, turns out she came up behind us..who ever looks behind???? A good day indeed, we're going to go out and buy some lottery tickets now ;)

Good stuff Rob, glad to see you're getting the hang of this ticket thing. Now you'll just have to see how it goes getting pulled over for 100+mph.

I know, I know..there's been plenty of times we've been going a 'tich' faster, I guess it's just blind luck. I tell you though, this will be the first rally in BC and our cops are a bit different than the state troopers I think, and with our 40km over impound rule. I'm just going to remember not to be lead  I suppose we'll have to draw straws or something for who will be the sacrificial lamb each ride.

We used the "get your helmet off as quick as you can to show your grey hair" rule.
Funny Sandy we were both saying how we didn't want to go into this years rally with a speeding ticket. None for both of us on a bike.
Hang your head Rob..lol
