I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

My daughter Cheyenne and I went out for about 25 miles today but didn't take any pictures. She did a lot better in her riding today and I wish I could have gone longer with her but I confirmed I have an oil leak from a half moon. I'm thinking I might not have cleaned it up well enough after the valve adjustment I did a few weeks ago and will fix it tomorrow.

Caught a great sunset on the 1100G!

Sunday I took a spin up the coast road then took the dirt road across back to the main road that only took a couple of hours, it was a fun mix of environments, I didn't go too far because I had not topped the fuel off or taken any water as it was a spur of the moment decision. Just a snap at the beach a few miles away on the way out.

Did about 100 miles on Sunday in a memorial ride for my brother in law. The orange chopper in the video/pics is the bike he was building before he passed. His brothers have taken responsibility of finishing it and getting it road ready. Plans are to hand it down to my 13 year old nephew when he's old enough and ready for it.

Video is a little long and nowhere near professionally edited. I did what I could with it... lol

Interesting rack you have on your 1100. It doesn't look like a stock item. Did you fabricate it?

I'm not a chopper fan, but that one looks quite nice. Simple enough, and not overdone.

It came with the bike, so I dont know if stock or custom... Rack actually contains a backrest for the passenger as well, but I've removed it. I'm removing the rack as well. I plan on making the bike look a little more Cafe Racer style...

Minority on this Oyster day. I was at least 30 miles away from Annacortes. Funny the group thing, minimum of six people per group. drinking nasty budweiser and coors light.
Had a longer ride planned, but a flat spot turned up at partial throttle, so I kept it short on the boinger.

Hi Folks, perfect weather here today in Queensland Australia for a ride. What could be better than taking the vintage Kat out for a blat? Having some of your friends bring their vintage Kats along to share the fun, 15 of them!

Only fifteen GS motorcycles out for a ride? The Midwest guys in the States are hard pressed to find two or three running GS models to go to a GS Rally.
I thought that parts were difficult to come by and expensive down there. That is a beautiful sight to see for a person that is fond of GS bikes.

Lol....GSX1000E you sure seem upset about these guys with GS bikes not riding them. :) I have noticed in several of your posts (including a reference in the pnw thread appluading us for having so many gs bikes show up) your frustration. What's going on with that buddy?
Sorry for the hijack...that's some collection of Katanas...and knowing what they sell for down there, that's a lot of $$$ in one parking lot.

Yup pretty much a Harley love in. Didn't see another GS all day

We had 6-7 GS'S at the Brown County Rally this year. That was a good(Mid-West) turnout...Yes awesome Katana get together in Australia. Them guys really like there Kats.

Thanks for posting it Glen, that was a top day indeed! Seeing all those Kats is inspirational... really need to do something about not having one!!!

And i've been a bit remiss and haven't logged in here for ages...

There are some videos in my Youtube channel of the recent September ride and a Sunday morning ride I did with a fella from work.

No Youtube embedding on here so you'll have to click the link to my channel... enjoy!

Hi Pete, yeah it was a great day and made even better with 15 Kats roaring through the hills. Thanks for the vid link, the new camera is fantastic.

Cheers.

Took a ride out to our monthly get together at the Classic Motorcycle club for breakfast this morning.
Weather was good and the breakfast was as well, so all the biker types crawled out of the woodwork, damn, I love summer.

Toast, eggs, bacon and sausages hot and delicious

Chow down
