If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

Did a circa 70 miler on Saturday, though on my 1990 Revere as the GS is having a long overdue makeover! No pics as it was pretty dull and only about 5C, with only two other bikes out and about. Perhaps 10am was a bit early for the local biker types as there was not a sign of any at the local Cafe, though I think later in the day there would have been a few around.

Don't know what is going on, but in Portland, Oregon weather is almost summer like. I really feel for you guys in the midwest and east (my god, Boston over 8' of snow!) with all that cold and snow that does not seem to go away. Sorry, really am. We have been lucky with days and days of blue sky, sunshine and temps from 53 to 67 degrees. Been riding up the Columbia Gorge for 250 mile round trips and to the Oregon coast, almost all mountain roads are clear of any gravel since this winter we have not had any real ice and zero snow. No cold weather gear needed. Hang in there you riders, for sure, spring is coming and you can make up the lost riding. Not tooting our weather horn out here, just letting you know what some other parts of the US are like.

WE FINALLY GOT TEMP ABOVE 40'!!!!
What did I do? Well I dialed in the gearing for the hooligan project AKA FZ1 and took it out for about 75 miles today. SO GOOD TO BE BACK IN THE SADDLE!!!! Started out doing errands, had to deposit some cash from a bike I sold and then brought it to my girlfriends design firm and snuck a quick break from her. Then hit up the roads of VT. 116, 7 AND 17. Nice long loop, ran the crap gas out of it and brimmed it with some new petrol, then back home.

Still too grimy to take the BK out... I'm going to hold off. But the Fizzy loved the new gearing. So much more roll on in top gear. Anyway if it interest you just read my thread in other projects.

Finally winter is letting go. I'm so frickin' pumped!!!!

My son returned home for a week long visit after his trip to Mexico, Guatemala, and Belize last Friday and we managed to go for a ride today. It's was a rarity for us. Maybe only the second time we have rode together. 61f degrees, 126 miles and a brew pub in Etna. A good run.

We hooked up his GoPro on the 650g and hopefully he'll edit out a couple of minutes from the 4 hour trip that I can share. The season isn't to far off!

I'm the short one.

ha,ha,ha,ha,ha....I was going to ask if you were the shorter one Charlie. Great pictures, that's pretty cool you guys got to go out riding together. Tell you son he's nuts. I followed his Mexico ride, that was just some crazy stuff...and all on a bicycle!!!

I love my job but days like today make me really love it! Rode up to Naniamo to see a client and got paid mileage to do it! :) 300kms today.

Great video Charlie. Very smooth, where was the camera mounted ? { I especially liked the ending }

Nice video! liked the soundtrack too. You guys have some gorgeous weather!!! Everything is still buried in snow here.

Just another 100 miles to my son's house and back. It does get cold when the sun goes down. Nice ride Charlie, but was wondering where all the corners were.

Did a nearly 100 miler today, lovely weather and had the day off. From my house to the Brecon Beacons and Pen Y Fan (the highest point in South Wales) and back via the scenic route both ways.:D

Great photos.
Good photos of road and scenery that show some of what the ride was like. Good.

(I will be shoveling snow off roof this afternoon.)

.

I have to shovel a new path to the propane tank... Looks like we need another fill... Can't wait till this cold is over.
