    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

Please keep confederate in Vortex

Right on with the flag, Charlie G!

Enough is enough already. It stands for nothing good.

I know this belongs in the Vortex, so why don't we limit the icons to there? By using it as an avatar, you're spreading it everywhere you go in the site. I thought that kind of stuff was supposed to stay in the Vortex (where I can't see it).

Frank?

Thanks the poor kid I bought it from could not get it running and had #3+#4 sparkplug wire switched and I bought it un started and cheap $1500.00. Almost feel bad but that's hard to do on a nice ride like this.

Very good point Rob! I'd be happy to, if others did. :cool-new: TGIF

Nice job 8ball and thanks for posting.

They are still back and forth about the program extension here, but if they extend for another year I really need to find a bike here. Vicarious riding just doesn't get it.

Went to a coffee meetup with some of the BC Classic Motorcycle Club guys. After we stopped by at one of the members house and ogled his collection.

No Suzuki's there today, but the fellow with the collection came over on his 1967 Honda 160, cool little tiddler.

Hope you weren't hanging out with that goof ball in the brown shirt. Think he's going to buy that Connie?

Eddie there sure are some great bikes in that collection.
What is the story on the Bonnie?
Is it a track bike or does he race it? It has an interesting array of upgrades.

We did over 400 miles this weekend through Maine, NH and VT and loaded up for a night of camping at Lake Umbagog way up north. Here's a pic at Dixville Notch and the Balsam's Resort. No presidential candidates canvassing yet for the 12 first in the nation primary votes to be cast. The DL650 makes the trip that much more enjoyable.

Or special trip today?
A bit hot today?
I see is 91 in Bandera now, so maybe that not considered too hot for there.

Any pics?
I was there in March 2005 (for GSR rally) and always wanted to go back. And had occasion to do so a couple years ago.
