A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

Trev,

Is that the "image stabilization" (of utube..or other) that makes it look like the instruments and mirrors are going forward and then back....? I have found that with the continual motion of traveling down the road the "image staabilazation" (of utube) can do strange things in addition to what it is intended to do.

Hmmmm...maybe. I did ad that to at least one or both videos but I didn't look at it again. Thanks for pointing that out Redman.:)

I rode to work today. When I came out, there was a Suzuki parked next to me. It looked like it might be an 850L shaft drive. However, it had no emblems except the "Suzuki" on the stator cover and it was sorely bobbered in the most home-hack-job way. Purists here should be thankful that I can't really take pictures there without being "politely encouraged" to not do so. The bicycle bell on the clutch side of the bars was a nice touch, though, lol.

Got out after dinner for an evening ride (58 degrees).

Went out of town, then back in town about sunset.

Found a way into the state park camp ground (not open yet).

Well, I took her out of hibernation today. She fired up pretty quickly and ran just as well as she did when I put her to sleep in November. Got it up to temperature by going up and down the road a bunch of times. Did a few figure of 8's in the road and shut it down. Will clean her up and get ready for the riding season. Good to be back out on the road again.

Pic from my neighbour Bryan and I's Sunday ride to Port Renfrew...

And tonight after dinner ride in the hood...beautiful evening...

I cleaned out my garage on the weekend....funny one of my neighbours thought I was having a party...lol

Thanks Fred...no worries about the video as a week tomorrow you will be riding it in real life! :D
Btw...which bike do you want to ride? It's one of those rare times when I wouldn't hesitate to ride any of them across the country tomorrow.:)

Hard choice, I really like to do wheelies, but I think the one with a new rear tire so I can do a really great smoke show at the Port Renfrew Motorcycle parking spot!

Good thing for brothers to do some things together. (I would suggest that you have some pics of you two. Years later you will like that.)

Morning ride for breakfast.
Afternoon ride, because it was 70degrees.
Evening ride with thin excuse of running an errand ...

Pic of evening ride.
(I like pic with the sun low, if can avoid shadows.)

Nice! The MRS. and I went out for 150 mile loop on my Connie Yesterday... Couldn't have asked for a more perfect day to ride!

Glad to see the Skunk is doing you well!

Got the 650 out and knocked the dust off it.
It's a great bike. I've put about 6k miles on this one so far. I bought it for 350$ and rode it to the Indiana rally two weeks later after doing the carbs right.
Went out today for a spring shakedown around the county.
Not bad....not bad at all.

Thank you, no it's a 1981 1100e...:)

Speaking of which.....Meet the new additions to the bobgroger garage. Went to look at some parts at kurt11234's house. He had a clutch basket and nut I was interested in, as I looked around I saw more and more I wanted. Ended up making a deal for everything Suzuki in the garage. A 81 1100e, an 82\83 frankenbike, enough parts for another bike, and a box of OEM 81 parts. 81 has potential to be very nice, good stock exhaust. He's buying a new FZ09, My garage is beyond full. What do I get rid of?
