    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

I managed to get the GS1000 out for a jaunt today. Never rode it last year and it felt great to be on it as usual. I took our main highway to Creston to see Fred and did a few side road excursions just cause it felt so good.

That's a fine looking machine Sandy.

Went for a 150 mile loop to Lake Cavenaugh, camera was acting up, no photos. Had a "moment" on one corner, kinda of mad I missed judged it.
It was decreasing radius left, but it had a double apex, so when I thought I was through it, there was another one, even tighter and slighty downhill.

Got out for a 100 mile ride this afternoon.
One of the few interesting rides around here.
Running out of interesting scenes for pictures along that route (but that did not stop me).

So, you did not ride to the Netherlands from Chicago.

Red, red, red....I don't live in Chicago....

I live in the 'burbs....about 20 miles out...But still, it's a little more than a day ride to the Netherlands:D

Ah, Chicago to Netherlands is 4700 miles.
Carol Stream to the Netherlands is 4720 miles.
Okay, now I see why you did not ride your bike to the Netherlands, it is 4720 miles.

Your picture by the windmill, sure did look like you rode quite a distance.

Hey, Bob, maybe see you in 4 weeks.

21K miles... Runs phenomenal... New tires, Rebuilt brakes, Forks, Cables, lines, fluids, plugs, coils, R&R, stator, battery... Chrome is in GREAT SHAPE... I can't believe this thing... I got a hell of a deal on it! Put about 30 miles on it... I can't get over how perfect this thing is. I broke in the tires for the PO... He's the second owner and dropped huge coin on it for his wife, who didn't want it.

I'm an L freak anyway... Tkent will want me crucified... It's ok. It looks just like my 750L did... Except this time with the decade under my belt I'm not going to molest this one.

Hey Redman. Love the Zook. One thing us SA guys can teach you is about Jerkey (we call it biltong). Oooo and barbeque (braai)......now im hungry

Did a 160 mile loop to Mt. Baker Ski area, weather was perfect, mid 60's. The road is a bit beat up, and dirty, with a lot of fresh tar snakes.
The snakes seem better the faster you go. I stopped for 20 seconds to snap photo, otherwise was in the saddle. That's Mt. Shuksan, Baker is hidden unless ur on top of the ski area.
