A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

Yeah no kidding! And 140MPH on a 600!? I had no idea bikes had come that far since my '81! The only way mine will go that fast is off a cliff (and not for very long, either). All I can say is, you have WAY bigger huevos than I do!
There was some speedo error for sure but these little buggers rip.
Ahhh
No sound like a 4 cylinder spinning up to 14K RPM

I find myself really liking that instrument cluster. I also like the shifting into 3rd gear at 100 and shifting into 6th at 150. And the way the front end wants to float away. Very entertaining video :)

They had to revamp the model in 2010 to the FZ6R for the FZ6 was a too overwhelming and not very receptive for "beginner" riders. They knocked 20 hp off and added a "sporty" fairing to help increase sale. Ultimately the FZ6 line was replaced with the FZ-07 however the original FZ6 was very high performance for the Standard bike realm. 100Hp at 13.5K RPM in a bike that weighs a touch over 450lbs Soaking Wet... The power is all thanks to the "re"-Tuned R6 power-plant.

Very fast MC... A true bargain bike that not many people know about.

One of the Best 600's ever made IMHO.

This place is crazy LOL

I liked what you wrote before. You can't please everyone but yet your friends are here.

Nice video, btw. Very ballsy popping a mini-wheelie and hitting 150+. I was amazed to go 100 so anything past that is a pucker factor if ONE is not familiar with that speed.

Riding all right. Only problem is I'm riding a chainsaw. LOL Took the Stihl out for a spin around the yard.

The worst is the trees down. I may be buying stock in chain saw blades. LOL I have the driveway cleared, but the rest is too much to do by myself. I would be cutting up trees for six months. heh

Too bad you're not up here. You could just put a sign on the gate " Free Firewood " and it would be gone in a couple of days.........

Seems to take a while to get up to 150 but it gets there. Looks pretty smooth and steady.

Well still racking did my numbers and I'm at the precipice of 19K for the season!

Used to have an FZ6. Great all around bike. R6 front forks make a difference but you'll need a spacer kit from the guy in their forums.

Almost got killed a lot on that bike though. People couldnt see it for some reason.
