A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

Hey
45 degF this afternoon.
No snowbanks remaining to melt across road....
... And.... Had a little bit of rain since last snow-salt.

Yep, New helmet AND new jacket.

Tomorrow suppose to be a bit warmer.

I went on a search for waterfalls today. Although there are a few just north of me, I wanted to get away for the entire day so I went East to Hocking Hills and two falls - Cedar and the falls at Old Man's Cave. Had to putter by an Amish buggy rider from behind but did so more out of respect for him; horse took the Bandit in stride though. Sadly I had to complete the pass on a curve because I really couldn't get much slower without stopping. Fortunately I could see well through the curve and didn't have issues with oncoming traffic.

It sure is nice to get off the main roads - leaves aren't in yet but this Piney Creek Road still looked very nice. I'd like to go hit this area again.

Soaking ride after work... 120 miles Needed it, $hit $how at work.

33' on my ride in... Riding till I can't my only vise.

$2.55 is cheap for us! It was closer to $3.00 about a month ago. This show was taken in NY for I was on a ride, I was taking the very long way home.
I think we are in the $2.30 range right now in VT. I'll let you know when I fill up tonight after another +100 mile afternoon ;)

2.60 at the station in town here..only station within 15 miles though so its 15-20 cents more than everywhere else. one of the only down sides to living in a small town away from everyone.

Wow you guys get it cheap! I paid $1.18 per litre yesterday which was cheap by current prices... that's $4.47 a gallon... lately it's been more in the $1.30 to $1.40 per litre price range.

Enjoy it while you can, it won't stay that cheap. Oil production is shutting down in the states, oil is too cheap to pump or drill for. Huge layoffs in my area and west Texas. When the supply of oil and gas starts going down, prices will sky rocket.

Pete, in thie last couple days we just dropped from the usual $1.05 a litre to 92.5 a litre.

What an awesome week to ride... Yesterday was brutally cold (20' F) and no ride in this AM for it was 8'F. Hope to get out and start riding again this afternoon.

Not to talkative, out riding and making sure I maintain my integrity of being a social distancer! 1700 miles on so far for 2020. Hope for a big year even if I'm riding in circle in Vermont!!!

Best,

Gonna get out on the Sporty for a ride out east today. Photos to come.
Good. Will welcome the diversion.

Maybe close to 40 today. Have riden on some 40 degree days before.
Might be closer to 50 Tue-Wednesday. May get out then.
