    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

Are there any roads around there with some curves?

Unfortunately northern Indiana is like northern Ohio and there isn’t much from what I’ve seen when I’ve been in that area.

But GSGeno, if you haven’t already you ought to head south towards the Bedford/Shoals/Paoli area where you’ll find some really fun riding.

Oh, yeah-I know northern Ohio, especially the eastern side. I spent my childhood outside Cleveland and still go back every year.

Gene, nice video. I see a lot of throttle wrist action there.
This may be the simplest and most effect mod. It works a treat.

https://www.thegsresources.com/_for...-Throttle-Mod/page2&highlight=$1+throttle+mod

Damn, Id love that. I feel the grip is awkward when I give it a lot of throttle.

Took the GS shopping for a mother's day gift. I'm just glad she didn't ask for a dishwasher.

When you have stuff like that on the back, how do you get on and off?

.................When you have stuff like that on the back, how do you get on and off?

It's not too difficult. When my wife rides with me, she has a hard time getting on after me so she hops on and scoots back, then I slide a leg over and we're off.

EZ way, left foot on left peg, hands on bars, step up and lift right leg over. Same as mounting a horse.

I was gonna say, either way, he’s got a kitchen aid riding pillion, but I won’t. That would be sexist.

Edit:

No offense Roger.

It was a joke.

a bad one.

I’ll let my self out.

This is what I do when I have stuff stuck. I always feel worried it'll slide and Ill be embarassed. And I bump the mirror so it gets misadjusted.

For some reason when I jump off I imagine Im flexible enough (I am not really).

If you had said that I would have laughed, but you didn't so I won't.

None taken. Even my wife chuckled at the comment you didn't make.

I almost didn’t use the more doggerel term “riding bi+?h” instead of “riding pillion”. I’m really glad I didn’t not say THAT!

Been taking fairly local rides on lockdown. This is at a Schuylkill river trailhead park I often stop at. Used to be loaded with totem poles and carved tree stumps done by a Marine corp vet. Most are rotted away now. Nice day! High 50's but breezy.

Here you go Hank....

Thanks Baatfam! Site would not let me upload photos at all except as attachments. Even after resizing. No problems doing that before. Looks like I might have knackered my phone lens with frequent alcohol cleaning.

That looks so serene. And your bike is sooo clean.

Does that tank bag use magnets?

What a whirlwind the last couple of days were. Traveled pretty far to get my new machine and took it out for 100 miles... What a monster... Love it!

100 miles being as far as it will go before you have to start searching for a gas station ...
