A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Todd...I have always loved your bike...and the fact that you have had it as long as you have and ride it so much, makes it even more special my friend. I look forward to riding with you again someday. :)

Nice night...

Yeah, I was looking forward to coming up for your annual ride, this year

That's pretty interesting Noreg that you would purposely go chase the rain. I don't mind if I get caught out in it but to go riding while it's raining is a different story for me.

It was extremely sunny today and though not as hot as yesterday, it still was a warm one (80ish degrees Fahrenheit) so I ventured out to go find some waterfalls. I didn't get to see all of the ones I wanted but I have a better idea of where I should park next time. Came across this covered bridge though that stopped being used in the early 2000s:

It was a nice road to get here too

the beemer is nice to ride but there is no substitute for a gs1000. it's just plain fun.

L?dingen, Nordland. Twelve and a half hours for my destination. Plus stops.

Cargo net was brilliant.

31 degrees celcius in Trondheim. This is a way bigger city so I hate all the stopping at lights. And its so warm. Shutting down the engine at red lights is new to me (lights are waaat faster in Harstad).

I got a new mesh mail proetcion thing with mesh (it is WARM to ride here).

Roundabouts inside tunnels was also a fun experience.

My mystery oil leak is confusing me. Puddle after I stop, but doesnt seem to lose final drive oil at all. Motor oil is still dissappearing whenever I ride hard (if I keep bellow 4000 it seems to stay in).

Clean the area where the puddle is coming from and spray it down with foot spray. The leak will show its general path

A ride this morning before it got too hot and came across an interesting roadblock.
Probably about 60 cows heading from the barn to the pasture.
One of them actually took some steps towards me. Could have been the leather suit i was wearing. :)

Interesting road block Steve! Last time I saw a herd like that on the road it was raining and the road was covered in not-quite-mud if you get my meaning...

5 Kats but only 1 BOTM???????

Haha yep Larry :D
