If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

It was a total of 2200 miles this past weekend. Good little Jaunt. .

There Justin, that is what I mean.

Your "2200 mile weekend", the mileage is inline with my cross country trip (that I only made part way, broke down, and finished in rental truck).

And your 175 mile long way home from work, is more inline with my day trip (about 4-5-6 hours).

And your 75 mile evening spin, is more like my afternoon ride (3-4 hours).

(but, then, again, I need more exercise, . . . and will be 70 next year.)

Shouldn't have, but I did go for a ride. Sustained 35mph winds and 50mph gusts made for a dirt filled sky. Interesting ride though.

I visited a small swap meet not too far away. Bought a top box for $40. Mounted it this morning. I think it'll work out well.

Did a little wandering on the way home.

My wife and I went for a really nice ride up to Santa Fe. Just a few hours tooling around the slower highway through Madrid and Tijeras. Beautiful afternoon for it. Messed with an old GoPro my daughter gave me. It's mounted on top of the headlight.

My wife spotted that bull and we had to turn around to see it. He was super friendly. All the tasty sage brush was on our side of the fence so I gave him some. His horns from tip to tip were longer than my stretched out arms could reach.

I did about 250 today. I rode up to Warren Pennsylvania taking rt 62 along the Allegheny river. I took the infamous rt.666 short cut, (with no issues). I stopped at the Iron Bridge Inn on my way home for dinner. It was a beautiful day 82? with scattered clouds. It never did rain like they were calling for. I didn't care if it did.👍

Just a 50 mile run today, no scenery other than the woman with whom I had lunch. Been riding to work four days out of five, so every day is a riding day.

Got 7-20 minute sessions @ Ridge with a freshly paved circuit (entire track 2.47miles).

I was hit by another rider on track after lunch, by a "swooper" on a 06 GSXR...maybe I could have waited to pass, but he apexed too early, he got sucked out wide, then came back at me, even though the next corner was away from me.

Neither scathed, but he did find me in the pits for a "chat" close to the end of day.

Coldest track day I've ever been to, 55 w/high winds.

Saw a few cool cars, camping the night before.

Did they flog them on the track

Hey Steve, yes they did with a car track day organization called Turn 2.
They also got permission to do some glam shots on the track when their day was over.
Heard them roaring down the straight, then crackling a bit on decel for turn 1.

Had the privilege to ride around the track with the owner of Turn 2 awhile back in a junior stock car, he was passing all the exotic cars once the Hoosier slicks were warmed up, floating 2 wheels over the aprons of turns. Good sliding fun!

Cool shot of the longhorn, we have a few nearby Bellingham, if/when the border opens.

Nice shot of the Kat!

Thanks for telling us about the fence.

Left the FJR home, eh? To go for two-up ride on 850G?

Good no serious results.

Thanks for that.

Have enjoyed witnessing all the wheel in water shots posted by you, pictures & the ride reports.
I've ridden thru Michigan once from the North heading South, got completely soaked. Still a good adventure.

Always something fun going on at the track. Those must be the later version: 2004-05-06, not 2nd rate.
Ok, even I learned something, swoopers are a hazard on the track, and I was told by a coach I was a swooper last year, turning in too early. Working on fixing that.

Is that allowed?

Well I did kinda sneak out and didn't ask my wife if that's what you mean...

I mounted the new luggage compartment and it fits great. Haven't ridden with it yet but I think it'll work good. It reminds me of the one that our friend Jedz seems to put on every bike he owns.

Ha.
I was making snide/funny/satirical comment about putting something inexpensive on a beemer.

But I see you do take your BMW GS out off pavement, so I suppose you will be okay, as long as dont join the others parked at Starbucks. har har har
