A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

the dern draw bridge. Yes, on a US highway.
When I get caught by it, I like to get out/off and look to see if the boat really needed to request the bridge to open.

So, Scott, then we will get to see more ride pics this weekend.

hey, Larr, what aircraft is that?

.

Not real sure Dave. I'm not up on all the different models, but I think it might be a b1b bomber.

Some great shots, wow guys. Living through you! I'm so buried by work, customer's bikes and #Dadmode I haven't ridden much this week. I think I'll ask the wife I can sneak out on the Monkey.

Keep posting your adventures. Something to look forward to resuming once Willa is old enough to accompany me.

Right? I'm enjoying these shots too. Sure hope you get out soon.

I'll add a couple of shots from today. Got out for a little ride around West-central New Mexico.

Lava flow at the Malpais National Conservation Area. The lava here just came up through cracks in the ground. Lots of volcanic activity in NM, it always fascinates me.

Thunderstorms on the horizon, especially later in the day, in almost every direction, but only hit light rain for a few minutes.
Fun day!

Bike n Hikes this past weekend. Saturday was the Niagara Falls area. This near the whirlpool.

Yesterday I rode in the opposite direction to some trails through a land conservancy area called the Gully Preserve. Found this monstrosity out in the woods. Must have been a railroad bridge but I haven't been able to find any info on it. Weird that something like this could be forgotten.

Hey Dave, we were up near Muskegan a couple weeks ago for the weekend, staying at Grand Haven. Our son has a summer job at Maranatha Bible Conference Center in Norton Shores playing drums in their praise band.

Extremely nice looking 58 Chevy Trevor. Beautiful paint.

On another note, yes, I went for a ride today, but no pictures. I mostly ride out away from town, but today I had 1 errand to run when I got back to town. I was within 2 miles of my house on a two-way street when some SOB decided to pass the car ahead of him and ended up coming at me head on. My only choice was to go off roading. Had to get home to change my shorts. Sure wish I would have handled it differently, but I was a little shaken by the whole experience and just went on home.

….. .. .. .
And …. And ….. you didn’t contact me!?!
Yep, I am in Grand Haven (well, just outside).
Yah, maranatha, know where it is, have been there and is on a road that is interesting to ride when going to Muskegon.

Pink Floyd cover band show the other night. Always take your bike to concerts, you get the best parking. The weather was iffy that day and that's an understatement. I was glad I rode the beemer because I had to cross flooded roads and go through debris that washed up. No pics of that cuz I was in a hurry to get to the show. The weather settled down and it was a beautiful night for music under a waxing half moon. There was even a rainbow as the band started.

Second set after dark. The lasers started up.

The band is called The Machine. If you get a chance to see them do it.

I won enough in the casino afterwards to pay for the two beers I had and my ticket to the show. All the harleys have rumbled away. Slow ride home... so many deer.

The Machine is awesome. Saw them in a club in Boston in the early 90’s. Frontman could sing and sound like Gilmore or Waters.
