A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

Rode yesterday and today-yesterday to meet a friend to watch UFC, and today to try out Old Ellsworth Brewing, which was a total hit. Total miles between the two days just under 130.

Had some things going on, but , hey, is 70degF in October in Michigan, so got out for hour or so.

One pic is arranged in Bob style.
ANd a selfie to go along with Larry.

20221028_173745~2.jpg Even with cooling temperatures and shorter days I was able to go on a 200 mile ride.
I have to hit, or come close to 600 miles by next Friday for it's 600 mile service. I want to get that service done before winter storage.

Wow.....love the bike....congrats!

100 mile ride on the GS1000G I traded for the 550E. Definitely worth the trade even though I am trying to troubleshoot out a clutch issue (sip) in the higher gear when delivering the 100 ponies. A total cream puff of a motorcycle, I've never owned a big block shafty and will say, Suzuki Nailed these 8V rigs. Super comfortable. I would say I did an decent job at brining the old bike back up to snuff.

Cheers!

Larry, looks like a fun adventure! Can't wait to get out of Vermont but being a new Dad is probably the coolest thing I've ever done. I'm with you vicariously! Travel safe.

Nice Bike Stromn' Normn'

K1600?

Yep, the biggest one they had! haha 20221030_150654~2.jpg A picture with the side bags off. This is from last weekend at the "Race Pitt" track over in Wampum Pennsylvania.

Sorry, this will be the last pic for awhile... Lol

All good! 6 cylinder bikes are fun in their own right! I did 150 mile ride on the GL1500 this past Sunday. It was nice. The weather has been WARM! 65' right now. Heading out for some Doctors appointments and will be taking the GS.

Congrats on the bike Norm! Making your way to Vermont one of these days? I might be going out to New Mexico next summer. Most likely on the Goldwing or retro fit the touring gear on the Bonneville. I promised a buddy I would visit and have yet to come out, COVID first than my kid joined the party. Youngstown is a good overnight for me when heading west. Stay tuned, might need to utilize your gest room.

best,

Got out on my BMW today....love this bike...even more than my new Suzuki GT....as a matter of fact I may sell it.

No Dave, I just stopped in to see what was going on. There was a Porsche club doing a track day on the big track. Go-Cart racing on the small track. It doesn't cost anything to get in to watch and walk the pits.
The Raceway is about a hour away from home. It makes a nice ride.
