If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

Dam....or Dragon

I am liking your road side poses.... and nice sunny overviews.

Tail of the Dragon. First overlook. The colorful trash can use to be on the other side of the road, overlooking the dam.

Bought a couple photos from the professionals. They had at least 6-7 photo locations.

Went out Monday for a bit, only took a couple photos....

And, when I pulled up in the garage, I had this....

Yesterday and today were nice weather (after cold, rainy, windy) and I was able to get away for the day today.
Today is one of the few over 70degF so far. 75 this afternoon seemed good and warm with clear skys.

Was mid 50s this morning but warming up nicely. Headed out about 9am, . . . and (some can guess) . . . . stopped at local recordstore/coffee shop for a while, then headed out on a favorite ride that puts together a route of some roads that somewhat follow Muskegon river.

THen headed off in a further direction that I dont often go. Went thru area that has lots of apple orchards and peach orchards.
Found a place where could get a closer look.

Rolled back into town about 3pm. Only a little over 150 miles.
Hey, beach parking lot now open at the state park. Hey, that is kinda like summer time.

Had my boy out for his first real ride on the GS. Beautiful sunset ride through forest gravel and back country roads. Glad he got his good looks from his mom. :)I remember having hair like that.

1st actual road ride for Goldie today. She ran like a champ, after the ride I leaned out the idle circuit a bit. Another test tomorrow and a carb sync and plug change if I like it. She runs extra hard and will eat my CBF1000 easily. After all these decades I still love the ride of these bikes better than anything else. This is just a vew blocks from my house, I put over 100km on today, fresh build but she loved the exercise..

Your bike looks great in that colour! Would love to meet you this summer out your way :)

Took the Sportster to work yesterday, and will again today. Probably going to sell the Sporty and buy an older (Evo) Road King later this year so that that 65 mile one way is more enjoyable (and to enjoy some longer road trips to other states).

I've been mulling over the idea of getting a "solid mount" '90s Sportster 1200 for local riding/commuting. My short lived experiment with the '80 Shovelhead Low Rider left me hooked on the whole "potato-potato" thing, but I didn't like having $7000 tied up in what amounted to a fun toy for local riding. A $3k Evo sportster sounds like a better bet.

Mine's a very modified 2016. The fuel injection is definitely nice, and it makes a very good deal of power. Definitely not a garden variety Sporty, I probably have $12,000 in it between purchase and mods; but I'm ready to get a better long haul Harley. I've ridden quite a few 400+ mile days on it. There is something special about them, and I will probably always have one of one sort or another.

This ride was actually a couple weekends ago. First bike camping trip of *24. Sproul State Forest, PA.

Got out on the 110 today...had some sticky carbs but a little seafoam took care of that...of course I got caught in the rain....lol

Not today, but yesterday! Took a little 110 mile trip up to the Kentucky river lock #3. (Got to ride KY 421 and 22 which are two EXCELLENT roads!)

Went up to Big Ridge State Park....and parked.

Left there and took SR61 East...Lots of switch backs....

Also had a CEL on the new bike, while I was out. :(

Did a full detail of my new to ST today...man it cleaned up nice and got out for a ride after....loving this bike...and the Two Brothers exhaust sound great!

I rode my new-to-me GSX1250FA for a few hours today, a bit up the island and back. What a great bike! Far more relaxing tourer than that 1000GT I had (briefly) last year.
